Rocko's mom calls to tell Rocko that Dingo's coming. Heffer answers the phone, pretending to be Rocko. Rocko is terrified because Dingo bullied him for years. While Heffer and Filburt are watching TV, you can hear a brief clip of Ralph from "Wacky Delly".

Actually, it looks like he used only crayons. Heffer and Filburt try to train meek Rocko to stand up to Dingo. They eventually turn him into a monster who chews on Filburt.

He has mended his ways and seeks to atone for the pain he caused Rocko. Dingo is voiced by Carlos Alazraqui, who also voices Rocko and Spunky. I just love the way he says "bacon in a box" and "five bucks".

He's also cut off his ears (ouch!). By making amends, he hopes to become one with the unicorn. Though called Dingo, he looks like a larger version of Rocko, not a dingo. Maybe he's a kangaroo?

Dingo wants Rocko to punch him in penance for the times he beat Rocko. In spite of being trained to fight, Rocko's real personality comes through, and he feels that violence doesn't solve problems. He punches Dingo when asked a second time, but regrets it immediately. He doesn't hear Filburt and Heffer beating up Dingo outside.

Answer: Porridge makes him queasy.

Just hearing the word "porridge" makes Filburt say "I'm nauseous". As Filburt is the witch in the Hansel and Debbie story, saying "porridge" makes her nauseous enough to distract while the two escape. Rocko reads to the sick Filburt from "The Really Really Big Book of Fairy Tales".

Answer: Fish sticks

Rocko says it's made of healthy snacks, while Heffer says it's a pizza house. "Fish sticks" is Filburt's expletive of choice, so it's not surprising he wants a fish stick house.

Answer: Espresso

Filburt the witch's line "Wait! I was gonna make an espresso!" is a reference to the movie "Young Frankenstein", where Gene Hackman's character says the same thing. I don't know why, but Filburt saying "You want that espresso now? I could make tea..." is one of my favorite parts of the whole show.

Debussy's "Clair de Lune" plays after Cinder-Heffer is turned into a Pinocchio expy. The witch is defeated when the fish stick house, a shoe house, and a giant land on her in succession.

Answer: Glass slippers

After the giant falls on the witch, her glass slippers are revealed. The prince/Debbie puts them on Cinder-Heffer, who comes back to life, and the two marry to the theme of Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture".

Rocko and Heffer's bizarre tale takes them through the stories of "Hansel and Gretel", "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Cinderella", and a bit of "The Wizard of Oz". Rocko starts as Debbie but finishes as a prince, while Heffer starts as Hansel and ends as Cinder-Heffer. Talk about a fractured fairy tale!
