Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Did the necromancer take off Raymond Crouch's corpse's shirt before his own?

Answer: No

The necromancer took off his own shirt, then Crouch's. As he did so, he chanted, "He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."
2. What did the necromancer put in Raymond Crouch's corpse's hand?

Answer: cell phone

That night, he sat in his car awaiting Crouch's call. When he got it, he went to the gravesite and dug up the zombie.
3. What was Frank Black watching on TV when Scully and Mulder first came to meet him?

Answer: football

He seemed annoyed that Scully and Mulder were interrupting him as he watch the game between Notre Dame and Boston College. When the agents were leaving, Black told Mulder it was the first and 18, but Mulder corrected him, saying that it was third and 10.
4. When stopped by the Deputy Sheriff, what did the necromancer attribute the smell to?

Answer: dead deer

The Deputy commented on the smell and the necromancer theorized that a deer had died in the woods. The Deputy insisted on checking the truck, though, and was attacked by the zombie.
5. Where on the dead Deputy did Mulder find the note?

Answer: mouth

The man's mouth was stapled shut and the note was rolled up and slipped inside. It was a passage from the Book of Revelations, chapter 1, verse 18. Mulder realized that Frank Black knew more than he had said, and when he'd said it was the first and 18, he hadn't been referring to the football game. Knowing this, Scully and Mulder returned to the mental hospital to try again to solicit Black's aid.
6. According to Frank Black's profile of him, which was an accurate finding of the necromancer's probable profession?

Answer: taxidermy

Black told Scully and Mulder that their suspect worked in a profession that kept him close to death. While Black was giving the profile, the necromancer was shown among his taxidermy subjects, putting an eye in a stuffed dog.
7. When Scully told Mulder that 2001 was actually the millennium, how did he reply?

Answer: "Nobody likes a math geek, Scully."

Scully had a good point, but it didn't seem to be stopping the former Millennium Group members from successfully creating their zombies.
8. The necromancer welcomed Mulder into his house.

Answer: False

Mulder actually climbed over the fence and picket the lock on the front door to get in, but not before putting some salt in his pocket.
9. How could the zombies be killed?

Answer: shot in head

Scully, Mulder, and Black all successfully offed zombies by shooting them in the head, which seemed to be the only way to kill them.
10. Scully and Mulder kissed.

Answer: True

After watching the ball drop on television at the hospital, Mulder leaned in and kissed Scully. Afterward, he commented, "The world didn't end", which referred to the kiss as much as to the feared Y2K meltdown. Scully concurred, saying, "No, it didn't."
