Answer: Nine Below Zero

South London blues band Nine Below Zero performed "Eleven Plus Eleven", a song about the misery of being twenty two.
In this first episode, "Demolition", the boys have been served an eviction notice because the house is being knocked down. In the second episode they live somewhere else.
2. Which band did Mike tell to "Set up in our toilet"?

Answer: Dexys Midnight Runners

Mike says "But I told them to set up in our toilet" in response to Rik's list of demands to Maggie Thatcher, one of which is "Dexys Midnight Runners to play free, daily, in the university library".
Dexys were the guest band in episode four, entitled "Bomb". The boys find a bomb leaning up against their fridge. It is this bomb that Rik wants to use as a bargaining tool against Maggie Thatcher - Prime Minister of the time.
3. The only all girl band to appear in the series featured in the episode called "Time". What were they called?

This is a very girlie episode as it features comedienne Jennifer Saunders (wife of Ade Edmonson who played Vyvian) in a lead role as an escaped murderer and her comedy partner Dawn French in a brief appearance as the Easter Bunny.

Neil ends up joining the police and raiding a friend's party). Madness play in a pub that the boys go to because they are bored. Unfortunately they arrive a moment too late to see Madness perform.

The boys are having a party in this episode. Luckily, Rip, Rig and Panic appear from nowhere (as all the guest bands did) to save the day. Hurrah!
