This game is the only "Mega Man" game to have six Robot Masters. The game is also the only one with a point system.
The Robot Masters from this game are: Guts Man, Cut Man, Elec Man, Bomb Man, Ice Man, and Fire Man.

This "Mega Man" game had the infamous Yellow Devil boss, which is a big yellow blob that transforms into several blobs and travels across the screen. Its weakness is the Thunder Beam, Elec Man's weapon.

Fire Storm is a weapon that gives you a fire shield for a short amount of time, at the same time, the weapon shoots a fireball. This weapon is Ice Man's weakness.

The Super Arm is Cut Man's weakness, the Ice Slasher is Fire Man's weakness, and the Metal Blade is Flash Man's and Wood Man's weakness (and ironically, Metal Man's weakness). The problem is that the Metal Blade is in "Mega Man 2", not "Mega Man 1".

The Copy Bot makes a holographic copy of Mega Man and copies what Mega Man does, for example, when Mega Man jumps, the Copy Bot jumps, when Mega Man changes weapon, the Copy Bot changes its weapon to the weapon that Mega Man currently has. The Copy Bot does not fire when Mega Man fires though.
