Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. A "shady" merchant can be found lurking outside of the Imperial City, near the Chestnut Handy Stables. He is useful for selling what?

Answer: Poisons, Potions and Lockpicks

Shady Sam sells lockpicks at the very start of the game and is useful for those who are in need of lockpicks without having to join the Thieves Guild. He also sells potions and poisons, while horses can be found at stables outside all of the major cities (except the Imperial City ironically) familiars can't be bought or conjured in the game (they can in Skyrim) and as for rare clothing, such as the King of Worms Robes or Sheogorath's Regalia, you'll have to complete quests.
2. As you first approach Kvatch, a High Elf comes running at you, screaming like a banshee. What does he warn you about?

Answer: The recent sacking and destruction of the city by the Daedra

Hirtel, the cowardly High Elf, indeed warns you that Kvatch has been attacked by the Daedra and their Oblivion Gates. After fleeing from the burning city, he hides away in Anvil for the rest of the game. The city probably has run out of sweetrolls, either the Daedra ate them or burnt them all, and Brother Martin is NOT dead.
3. Casta Flavus rouses you from your sleep upon completion of every Daedric quest, save one. Which Daedric prince does she represent?

Answer: Hermaeus Mora, Prince of Knowledge and Memory

Upon completion of every other Daedric quest (except Mora's) you are summoned by Casta to speak with Mora and complete his Daedric Quest. Vaermina's Quest can be completed at Level 5, so relatively early on in the game, Sheogorath has his own questline (Shivering Isles) and independent Daedric Quest, and Mehrunes Dagon is the antagonist of "Oblivion" and the storyline focuses on his ambition to rule over Tamriel.
4. The Ayleid ruin of Atatar, has a Redguard resident studying the Ayleids. His sword, Sinweaver is the desire of the Fighter's Guild. He also wears a signature ring. Who is this Redguard?

Answer: Azani Blackheart

In a Fighters Guild quest, you accompany Modryn Oreyn through the ruins of Atatar to defeat Blackheart and claim his sword, after several other Guild members perished trying to do so. Lord Lovidicus is an Imperial vampire and related to the Gray Prince of the Arena, Umbra is a Wood Elf who named herself after her legendary sword, and Black Brugo is the Orc leader of the Black Bow Bandits.
5. Perennia Draconis has four children, one of which lives in Muck Valley Cavern. What is the name of this child?

Answer: Sibylla Draconis

Sibylla or "Sibby" as her mother calls her, lives an isolated existence in the cavern surrounded by her animal companions. Matthias works as a guard for Umbacano in the Imperial City, Caelia is the Captain of the Leyawiin Guard and Andreas is the owner and innkeep of The Drunken Dragon Inn.
6. Havilstein Hoar-Blood lives atop Gnoll Mountain. What creature does he keep as a pet?

Answer: Wolf

Redmaw the Wolf, and a pretty ferocious one too! The two live at the campsite atop Gnoll Mountain with the majesty of Cyrodiil below them. Both better be careful not to slip up there. That's a long fall.
7. For those wishing to seek training from the Master Trainer of Alteration, whom do they seek?

Answer: Tooth-in-the-Sea

Tooth-in-the-Sea is the Master Alteration Trainer and practically lives in the sea. Sinderion on the other hand is the Master Trainer for Alchemy, Tandilwe the Master Trainer for Speechcraft and Gin-Wulm the Master Trainer for Armorers.
8. M'aiq the Liar says many strange and wonderful things. Which of these phrases does he NOT say?

Answer: Skooma is quite addicitve. M'aiq does not like the taste. He prefers water.

M'aiq makes comments about certain things that were present in "Morrowind" that are not in "Oblivion" or other aspects that were scrapped from the final game. While M'aiq makes no comments about Skooma, he also makes no comments that you are only able to drink potions and alcohol in the game. Never can you drink water without mods.
9. Travelling through the wilderness you will eventually encounter a Daedric Shrine along the way. Which three can be found worshipping Nocturnal?

Answer: Francine Velain, Dhola and Mor gra-Gamorn

These three women are devoted to the worship of the Night Mistress, Nocturnal. Brynjolf, Karliah and Gallus can be found in "Skyrim", linked to Nocturnal in the Thieves Guild questline and are all Nightingales, guardians of the Sepulcher. The three Camorans worship Mehrunes Dagon, as they are the leading figures of the Mystic Dawn and as for Ashni, Engorm and Faurinthil they can be found at Sanguine's Shrine.
10. What is the name of the Breton who lives as a Shaman for the White Skin Goblin Tribe?

Answer: Goblin Jim

Goblin Joe has seemingly shunned human connection and lives with Goblins. He lives with the tribe in his own cave, Goblin Jim's Cave.
