Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The titular character, Freddy Fazbear, has many different forms throughout the series. Exactly how many are there officially named Freddy?

Answer: Five

Debuting in the first game of the series, we are introduced to Freddy Fazbear and Golden Freddy. In the sequel, we meet an older version referred to as Toy Freddy. The third game introduces Phantom Freddy. At last, in the fourth game, the horror known as Nightmare Freddy is introduced.

Any other animatronics that appear similar to Freddy have not officially been given the name.
2. Across the series, several animatronics have more than one jump-scare animations. Which of these does not?

Answer: The Puppet

The puppet has only one jump-scare in "Five Nights at Freddy's 2".

Freddy has two jump-scares in the first game: one has him entering the office during the night and ending the game conventionally. The other has him appearing after the power runs out, giving mere seconds for the night to end.

Springtrap, appearing in "Five Nights at Freddy's 3", has two different jump-scares depending on if he comes from the door to the left or the open vent on the right.

Nightmare Chica will either perform her jump-scare at the right door of the bedroom or can sneak into the room if not kept under watch, and her cupcake will perform the jump-scare.
3. In "Five Nights at Freddy's 3", how is Phantom Chica different from the other animatronics?

Answer: Her base model is from the first game

All phantom animatronics sans Chica have their models from "Five Nights at Freddy's 2" modified to appear burnt or otherwise disfigured, while Phantom Chica's model is a modified form of her model from the first game. This is most notable due to her beak being rounded rather than pointed.
4. "Five Nights at Freddy's 3" is the only game in the series where there is no jump-scare that does something other than send the player back to the menu screen.

Answer: True

Typically, a jump-scare will result in a game over which sends the player back to the menu where they may try again. However, all games aside from the third one have a special scare which has another effect.

In the first game, Golden Freddy's jump-scare will close the game window. This can be achieved either by allowing him to be seen in the room for an extended period of time or typing in "1987" on the custom night's screen.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 2" has two rarely appearing hallucinations which also close the game if stared at long enough, namely an entirely black or purple Freddy recolour and an entirely black Bonnie recolour.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4" has the animatronic simply known as Nightmare, whose jump-scare will not close but restart the game from the opening logos.
5. Which game in the series is the only one to introduce a new animatronic on a night past the fifth?

Answer: "Five Nights at Freddy's 4"

Upon beginning the sixth night in "Five Nights at Freddy's 4", the animatronic Nightmare will begin appearing at 4 AM. One must immediately close the door upon seeing him in the hall to avoid a game over. Alternatively, he will appear either in the closet or on the bed, in which case the flashlight must be held on him.
6. In "Five Nights at Freddy's 2", there are several rarely appearing secret animatronics not given official names. Which of these is not one?

Answer: A monochrome version of the Puppet

At times, a feminine looking version of Balloon Boy may be seen under the desk, staring at the player. For the few seconds after the Puppet has escaped his box, there is a chance of seeing a naked endoskeleton wandering the pizzeria, often appearing in the party room or the left vent. Though there is no known trigger for it, an entirely black Bonnie may appear in the office.

He can only be removed by raising the monitor.
7. Which animatronic in no way has more than one head?

Answer: Toy Bonnie

Due to her unique assembly, Mangle has both a white and pink head much like Foxy's and an additional head with no covering coming from her neck.

Nightmare Freddy has several smaller versions of himself attached to his torso. These will appear on the bed and must be removed by shining the flashlight on them, or Nightmare Freddy himself will attack.

Springtrap is a unique animatronic in that he is made to function as both an independent machine and a suit. As a result, he has both his own animatronic head and the head of the man inside the suit.
8. Which of these animatronics does not have a jump-scare?

Answer: Phantom Mangle

In "Five Nights at Freddy's 3", there is a chance that Phantom Mangle's head will be visible in front of the window just outside the office. She will emit a sound akin to a garbled radio transmission, which will disable the audio system.
9. Where can the Puppet be seen in the first game?

Answer: He cannot

Though there seems to be a popular rumour that the Puppet has a cameo in the first game of the series, this is false. His first appearance is "Five Nights at Freddy's 2".
10. In the mini games after each night in "Five Nights at Freddy's 4", who is finally revealed as the culprit of the infamous Bite of '87?

Answer: Fredbear

Before being known as Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the restaurant was known as Fredbear's Family Diner. The animatronics were allowed to independently function during the day. However, it shown that a child who was bullied was forced into the mouth of Fredbear, a model which predates both Freddy and Toy Freddy, who suffered a spontaneous glitch and clamped his jaw down on the child's skull.
