Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the Great Deku Tree, there are three Deku Scrubs you have to hit in a particular order to reach Queen Gohma. What is the order?

Answer: Middle, right, left

A Deku Scrub earlier in the dungeon strongly hints the order to you. He says: "2 3 1... Twenty-three is number one!" This implies to middle, right, left. The short line after the order is likely there to help you remember.
2. In Dodongo's Cavern, how many types of Dodongos do you come across?

Answer: Three

There are three, the Baby Dodongo, the regular Dodongo, and the dungeon's boss, King Dodongo. All Dodongos except for the King Dodongo are subject to explode after you kill them, so hurry up and get out of there!
3. Which of these commonly used items is found in Jabu-Jabu's Belly?

Answer: Boomerang

The Fairy Slingshot is found in the Deku Tree, the Ocarina of Time is found soon after Jabu-Jabu's Belly is completed, and you do not get the Fairy Bow until the Forest Temple. The Boomerang is found in Jabu-Jabu's Belly and is a very useful item. Unfortunately you cannot use it as an adult.
4. In the Forest Temple, you for the first time stumble across a monster that can send you back to the beginning of the dungeon. What is the name of this deadly creature?

Answer: Wallmaster

Wallmasters are not too difficult to evade, however can be a nuisance if you happen to let one get you. This mostly happens to people who are new to areas with them, but if you are one of these people, just ignore the Wallmasters and play along with the game normally rather than panic and run around in circles trying to shake it off. That's just likely to get you caught.
5. The boss of the Fire Temple, Volvagia, yields only to one item. What is this item?

Answer: Megaton Hammer

Again, the Boomerang can only be used as a child, and Bombs and Deku Sticks are common items, rarely useful against most bosses, if at all. The Megaton Hammer is helpful to hit rusty switches, which appear occasionally.
6. In the Water Temple, how many different water levels are there in the main area?

Answer: Three

There are other areas with water levels you can change, in these areas you change the water level with switches. For the main area, you have to play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the Triforce symbol that changes the water level to your liking. These are scattered around the temple, and you may have to activate one just to reach another, so they take up some of your time. No wonder the Water Temple is the hardest temple to navigate!
7. During the Spirit Temple, who do you see for the last time story-wise?

Answer: Kaepora Gaebora

Nabooru, being the Sage of Spirit, just can't leave the game like that. Malon doesn't appear during any of the temple-related ordeals, she is only found in Hyrule Castle Town as a child and from then on in Lon-Lon Ranch.
8. What happens to Floormasters after you 'beat' them?

Answer: They turn into some little Floormasters

These little pieces resemble Floormasters, just roughly a quarter of the size of normal ones. They have much less defensive strength than normal Floormasters, a single slash from the Master Sword will do the trick without question.
9. In Ganon's Castle, how many barriers must you dispel to reach Ganon's Keep?

Answer: Six

Six barriers hidden in 'mini-temples', one relating to each normal temple. There's the Forest Barrier, the Fire Barrier, the Water Barrier, the Spirit Barrier, the Shadow Barrier and the Light Barrier. While trying to dispel a barrier, you will sometimes need the Golden Gauntlets.

The Light Barrier requires you to use the Golden Gauntlets before you even start its mini-temple! The Light mini-temple will be the most unfamiliar one, as the Temple of Light isn't a dungeon.
10. While facing both Ganondorf and Ganon, do you ABSOLUTELY NEED to use Light Arrows?

Answer: No

It's not necessary in the battle with Ganon, yet it is a hazard running out of magic. The trick you can use against Ganondorf involves Light Arrows. For the curious people, you do this trick by waiting until Ganondorf charges up for his attack that DOES NOT involve an electric ball you play tennis with or punching the ground, and shooting a Light Arrow at him while he is charging it up, because at this time he is completely off his guard; allowing you to hit him without having to go through a whole game of electric-ball tennis like you normally do. Finally, during the battle with Ganon, you can roll under his legs and hit him with the Giant's Knife or Biggoron's Sword right away, making the answer no. Thanks for playing my quiz!
