Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Each event is preceded by ________, but without the ________ there is no event." What are the missing words?

Answer: prophecy, hero

This is the first text shown in the game. You may never pay any attention to it, as it happens even before the first cut-scene.
2. The first quote in the game is said by who?

Answer: Zurin Arctus, the Underking

This is the only time that Zurin Arctus or "The Underking" is mentioned. This quote is obviously talking about you, the main character in the game, as your prophecy as a hero was made long ago.
3. "Morrowind" takes place in what era of Tamriel?

Answer: Third

This is said in the unknown quote at the beginning of the game. Nowhere does it say who said it or why, though it does give you an idea of what has happened before the beginning of the game.
4. What prison were you taken from?

Answer: Imperial City's Prison

This is said in your dream. In "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion", you start off in this very prison.
5. How were you transported to Morrowind?

Answer: First by carriage, and then by boat

This is another fact shared in your vision. This is said by one of the many Daedric gods of the game.
6. Whose is the voice that narrates your dream?

Answer: Azura's

Azura the lovely moon-star goddess who narrates nearly EVERY cut-scene. She is the Daedric god of dawn and dusk. She helps you throughout the game and gives you her blessing. Don't forget to visit her shrine and get her star; it is one of the most powerful items of the game.
7. Who awakens you from your dream?

Answer: Jiub

Poor Jiub thought he was to be released too, but he is never mentioned again. You then tell him your name, and though he tells no one, somehow everyone knows of your name in that very instant.
8. The first NPC that you meet in the game gives you some news. What news does he bring you?

Answer: "We've reached Morrowind."

He heard the guards say that they have made it to Morrowind. He mentions a storm the night before, but says nothing of its current state, the captain, not Juib, says it's time to go, and nothing is said of dinner being served.
9. Can you take items from the ship?

Answer: No

You can only take items after your inventory has been activated by taking your release papers. You can only get your release papers after the ship has left the harbor, which happens when you walk in the office.
10. Where do you register for citizenship/release?

Answer: Census and Excise Office

The Census and Excise Office...you will come here a few more times before you leave Seyda Neen, at least if you want some extra gold before you do. Hint: If you find Processus Vitellius, give Socucius the gold; 200 becomes 500 if you find his murderer.
