Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In which Nintendo DS game can you not only move into and help build a town, but invite your friends over using the Nintendo Wi-Fi or wireless communication?

Answer: "Animal Crossing: Wild World"

"Animal Crossing: Wild World" involves moving into a town (which you name) and exploring the town, as well as paying off your mortgage. Inviting friends over is a great way to collect different fruit, all of which sell better than whatever your town's native fruit it. You can attract more critters to your town by having a clean town and impressive museum, among other things.
2. The galaxy, in danger from an evil planet, can be saved by lining up at least three magical blocks either vertically or horizontally in which game?

Answer: "Meteos"

The evil planet, Meteos, sends blocks called Meteos to other planets in an effort to destroy them. While there is no Nintendo Wi-Fi support, there is single cartridge multiplayer, a great way to spread the addiction of "Meteos"! You can unlock more planets through game play, or by using launched Meteos to rebuild the planets for a total of 32 planets.
3. Which RPG games, fourth in their generation, now have over 450 collectible monsters to catch and trade?

Answer: "Pokemon Diamond/Pearl"

The always addictive games are back, with another eight gyms and another set of Elite 4 to beat. After the game is over, more Pokemon become available to catch and you can always trade Pokemon over the GTS using Nintendo Wi-Fi. Although "Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker" has a 'gotta catch 'em all!" feel, it is the third generation of its series and does not have over 450 monsters. "Pokemon Trozei" and "Pokemon Rescue Team" only involve third generation Pokemon.
4. In what game, which is a direct sequel to a Player's Choice Gamecube game, does a small but famous green-clad hero use nothing but the stylus to save a certain princess on the high seas?

Answer: "The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass"

As a direct sequel to "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker", be forewarned that the story of the Wind Waker is revealed. This unique game uses only the stylus to control Link and his various attack items. Being able to draw on the map is a great and useful addition to "Zelda" games.
5. With 32 tracks and multiplayer racing action, characters like Luigi, Bowser and others race around the circuits in what game?

Answer: "Mario Kart"

"Mario Kart DS" features a whopping 32 tracks, 16 of them from previous "Mario Kart" installments. Multiplayer supports up the eight players with a single cartridge, although players without a cartridge will be forced to play as 'Shy Guy' "Diddy Kong Racing" doesn't feature Luigi or Bowser in it, although it is also a racing game for the Nintendo DS.
6. Part of the Touch Generation of games, Dr. Kawashima helps you exercise a certain part of your body in minutes a day in what game?

Answer: "Brain Age"

"Brain Age" also includes free Sudoku. "Brain Age 2", its sequel, has new exercises for your brain. "Big Brain Academy" does not have Dr. Kawashima, although it is also a brain training game. All four "Nintendogs" games and "Tetris DS" are part of the Touch Generation games.
7. In what first-person shooter game do six new hunters join the familiar Samus in multiplayer action?

Answer: "Metroid Prime: Hunters"

While you can't play as any other hunter except Samus in the main game, multiplayer will let you play as any hunter you've personally encountered. "Metroid Prime Pinball" doesn't let you play as any other hunter at any time, but it does come with a rumble pack, which a few games including "Metroid Prime: Hunters" use.

While the rumble pack isn't necessary for game play, it adds a fun dimension to playing the game. The new hunters are known as Weavel, Noxus, Kanden, Spire, Sylux, and Trace.
8. What game, sequel to a Game Boy Advance title of a similar name, do the Mario brothers travel through time with their baby counterparts to save the world, and Princess Peach?

Answer: "Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time"

This game is a sequel to "Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga" for the Game Boy Advance. In this game, one button controls each Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi as they save the world from Shroobs. Brother Points, or BP, from "Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga" are replaced with Brother Items in this game.
9. Which Nintendo DS launch title is a remake of an old Nintendo 64 game?

Answer: "Super Mario 64 DS"

Unlike the original game, you start off as Yoshi instead of Mario. Another addition is capturing rabbits, which will unlock Nintendo DS mini games games that require the touch screen. A multiplayer, capture the flag type game for up to four people is also supported by one cartridge. "Super Smash Bros. DS" and "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time DS" do not exist. "New Super Mario Brothers" also has touch based mini games, although most of the games are the same as the ones from "Super Mario 64 DS".
10. Which game, following in the footsteps of "Mega Microgame$!" for the Game Boy Advance, adds new cast members, such as Ashley and Mike, to help a certain greedy person make even more money?

Answer: "Wario Ware Touched!"

This game, although released second in America, is chronologically the third Wario Ware title, after "Wario Ware Twisted!" for the Game Boy Advance. In this game, Wario believes that he'll make even more money with the Nintendo DS he took from the sewer guru in the opening scene, simply because it has two screens instead of one.
