After the necessary dissolution of S.T.A.R.S. when Raccoon City was nuked into oblivion, Chris Redfield continued to fight for the cause by joining the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, a counter-terrorism group dedicated to wiping out Umbrella Corporation's B.O.W. threats.

He arrives in Africa to meet Sheva Alomar there and restore some stability to the Kijuju region. Arriving at a civilian checkpoint, the two will pick up some weapons at a nearby butcher shop and discuss their plans to locate Ricardo Irving, and it's soon after that they will discover something has gone terribly wrong in Africa.

Answer: Uroboros

Chris and Sheva will quickly find that the BSAA Alpha Team has been attacked; Irving has gotten away and the whole arrival was a setup. Chris, given data regarding the B.O.W. deal, has to get it to a nearby storage facility, pop it into a satellite computer, and get the details to HQ. Of course, that means going through an Uroboros B.O.W. left behind. Once the data is analyzed, capturing Irving will still be the top priority, even if that means putting Chris and Sheva at major risk.

It's insane, but they're expendable.

Their next directive, while Delta Team flies in, is to head to the train station and the mines on the other side.

Answer: Las Plagas

Your time in town will escalate the closer you get to the harbour. As new Majinis appear with chainsaws and motorbikes, Chris and Sheva will meet with their friends on Delta Team. It's then that Chris will receive unexpected intel that references Jill Valentine, his old S.T.A.R.S. colleague, presumed to be dead.

There will also be notes, left behind by the enemies, claiming that Type 2 Plagas are responsible for the events in the area, having been deployed to face off against the BSAA forces in a test of their capabilities.

While Chris and Sheva will locate Ricardo Irving, he'll be grabbed and stolen away by a cloaked figure.

Answer: Truck

Intel found along the route will lead Chris and Sheva along the cliffs with the aim to cross the oil fields and head out to the marshlands. It figures, then, that they won't make it all that way without a few fights. It begins with a scramble around the mountain edges that appear on the other side of the mines wherein a winged B.O.W., stored in the back of a truck, will be the first order of business. Detla Team will show up shortly thereafter, and this will spell the start of a long and winding drive through the savannah to a Plagas-infected giant that'll need to be felled before the BSAA duo will find their way to the water's edge.

Answer: Crocodile

As Chris ends up explaining to Sheva, his story involving the BSAA didn't start with Africa. Last time Chris went looking for Oswell Spencer, he and his colleague, Jill, came across former S.T.A.R.S. member and adversary, Albert Wesker. A battle ensued and though Chris made it out unscathed, Jill plummeted down a cliff with Wesker in-hand. Jill's body was never found; she was considered dead.

Sheva, meanwhile, joined the BSAA to avenge her parents' death at the hands of Umbrella. Africa, as she claims, has long been used as a testing ground for their experiments.

The pair head out to the marshlands, village-hopping and looking for slates to unlock their next passage through the Kijuju Autonomous Region. It leads into the crocodile-infested waters of the villages' execution grounds.

What Chris and Sheva find when they reach the oil fields is that Tricell has infiltrated the area to, as records indicate, commence Type 3 Plagas field testing. What this means is that the area is teeming with stronger foes including more Majini with chainsaws.

The pair will eventually find Josh, the last surviving member of Delta Team, and all of them will race off after Ricardo Irving, pursuing him by boat. Using a provided syringe of Las Plagas, Irving will transform himself into an awful creature, spouting words about how the Uroboros Project will change everything.

As Chris and Sheva bring him down, Irving will relinquish one name to help them continue their adventure, Excella Gionne, the Director of Tricell's African Division.

Answer: Flowers

Chris and Sheba head into a series of underground caves pursuing cloaked woman and the journey leads them deep into the ruins deep beneath the African savannah. The pair encounter new and old enemies along the way and find themselves coming face to face with unique puzzles, some likely long-established in the subterranean labyrinth, and when they reach the worship area they come across lasers powered by concentrated beams of sunlight, eventually using them to advance. All of the ancient elevators and paths here will lead the two to a garden planted beneath the rocks and soil and the revelation that Tricell and the Umbrella Corporation might be one in the same. Of course, the garden abuts onto the labs where Umbrella researched their viruses before bringing them to Raccoon City.

Answer: A gemstone

The lab will prove to be the toughest environment to contend with yet as Chris and Sheva must face off against some of Umbrella/Tricell's most fearsome foes (including the Licker's Beta form and the massive U-8 creation). They'll reach a chamber that confirms some of their worst fears, specifically that Umbrella has been testing on countless people from around the world, and a quick look through the databases will show that Jill Valentine was amongst the specimens (though no one will be in her pod when they check).

They'll find Jill later, coincidentally, when they rise up through the labs and the excavation site above, and she'll be under Wesker's control, having been implanted with a mind-controlling gemstone. Wesker will escape, but it'll be up to Chris and Sheva to bring Jill back to her senses and head off in pursuit.

Answer: Wesker will infect her

Chris and Sheva's last order of business is stopping Excella and Wesker and the only way to do that is to get aboard the tanker they're taking out to sea. They'll find Excella pretty quickly once they plow through the Majini guarding the main deck and it'll all come to a head when they find her next to a large pile of bodies.

At this point, Wesker will have already injected her with Uroboros; the bodies are there solely to feed her power. It will lead to a battle that involves a satellite-controlled laser gun, and it's the only thing that will put an end to her accelerated growth.

When she's stopped, they can focus on finding Wesker.

Answer: A volcano

Wesker will head to his assault bomber with Uroboros missiles in tow and Chris and Sheva will need to use a special serum, left in Excella's care, to poison him. It'll take them through the ship for one last fight involving rocket launchers, but it will culminate in a take-off over the African coast and land the trio in the mouth of an active volcano.

The final battle here will be a tense one with an already-empowered Wesker taking on more of the Uroboros virus, but he'll perish in the lava if weakened enough for Josh and Jill to fly in via helicopter and Chris and Sheva to blast him away one last time. Provided they can put an end to this evil adversary they can fly off and survive their mission.
