Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is the the only active wrestler in the game to begin with A* popularity in a region?

Answer: Jeremy Stone

Jeremy Stone, the oldest of the Stone siblings (Jeremy, Dan Jr, Victoria, Duane, and Edd) is one of the most technically efficient wrestlers in the game. He works for his father's company, North of the Border Pro Wrestling, or NOTBPW. Although still a superstar, he is past his prime and hasn't held the most prestigious NOTBPW title, the Canadian title, since early 2002.

He, of course, has A* popularity in all regions of Canada.
2. Who owns British sports entertainment powerhouse 21CW?

Answer: Jeff Nova

Jeff Nova has B* popularity in all regions of the UK. His company has already become the most popular British promotion, and is well on it's way to conquer Europe and the world. Although he is a good wrestler with great star quality, he decided to work as a color commentator instead. His top face, Pit Bull Brown, is the head booker for the company.
3. Who is the top-ranked Japanese wrestler in the 2007 Power 100?

Answer: Yoshimi Mushashibo

Mushashibo and Miwa have been the PGHW posterboys for years, having each won the ultimate PGHW title, the Glory Crown. However, Miwa suffered a huge blow when he was injured for nearly four months. Tatsuko was once an incredible wrestler with brilliant potential, but has also lost momentum and has stalled. Hoshino is arguably the world's biggest available free agent, being a former Glory Tag and Glory Crown winner.

However, he had a falling out with Tatsuko, left PGHW, and declared himself a freelancer.
4. Which wrestler is credited as being the first to perform the 720 splash?

Answer: Emerald Angel

Emerald Angel is widely considered to be the best high-flier in the game, having an A in aerials and an A* in flashiness. Although not incredibly well-known yet (a C* in Japan), Emerald Angel is well on his way to becoming an amazing superstar, and at only 21 years old, is an incredible prospect.

A little-known fact: he is the younger brother of fellow World Level Wrestling superstar Koki Ishibashi.
5. Which new promotion is trying to complete "the hardcore revolution"?

Answer: PSW

PSW, short for Pittsburgh Steel Wrestling, is owned by former DAVE announcer Mitch Naess. DAVE, a hardcore cult company owned by Phil Vibert which once had stars like Nemesis and Johnny Martin, closed in 2007. Vibert & Nemesis went on hiatus, and Martin signed with PSW. Surprisingly, another ex-DAVE superstar, Shawn Gonzalez, went to FREEDOM Caribbean Wrestling, or FCW. APW is a new Australian promotion, and EWA is a European promotion. PSW also managed to keep DAVE stars like Alex Braun, Tank Bradley, JD Morgan, and The Wolverine.
6. Which TCW tag team was granted membership into the dominant heel stable The Syndicate?

Answer: The Machines

The Machines, consisting of John Anderson and Brent Hill, were once stuck in the indies before being put together by TCW with a machine gimmick, with which they would slowly take apart their opponent and use their impressive technical skills & psychology.

The other members of The Syndicate are Tommy Cornell, Sam Keith, and Wolf Hawkins. Painful Procedure consists of Randall Hopkirk & Billy Jack "BJ" Shearer. The Tag Team Specialists consist of Robert Oxford and Joel Bryant. The New Wave consists of Guide and Scout.
7. Which company is the developmental territory of Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods?

Answer: Hinote Dojo

The Hinote Dojo, owned by Stunner Okazawaya, holds seven of BHOTWG's stars of the future, including Elemental's son MYSTIC Dragon, and technical star Heihachiro Sakai. Hinote Dojo sticks to a traditional puro style. The Dojo is not very well known, however, and only has an F* in Kinki and an F- in every other region worldwide. Dojo's main "rivals" are Pro Wrestling SAISHO, the developmental territory of BHOTWG's rival, PGHW.
8. Which is NOT a finisher of Optimus?

Answer: Opti-Driver

Optimus, even at 49, is still one of Japan's best lightweight wrestlers, having won the BHOTWG Junior title eight times in his career. He is also the tag partner of fellow high-flier Super Joshuya. He has mentored young superstar Eagle Kawasawa and is known to be very social.
9. Which wrestler is nicknamed "The Bronzed God"?

Answer: Zeus Maximillion

"The Bronzed God" Zeus Maximillion is a quality wrestler who, although Canadian by birth, has a Greek accent inherited from his Greek parents. He was signed by CGC, but still only has E popularity in Canada. He is also trilingual and can speak Spanish, French, and of course, English. He has yet to win a title with CGC, or any other company for that matter.
10. What is the name of the fictional universe in which these characters reside?

Answer: CornellVerse

The CornellVerse, named after TCW owner and superstar Tommy Cornell, has evolved since it's "Total Extreme Wrestling 2005" debut, with over 500 workers being added during that time. It is one of the deepest databases yet.
