Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. At the beginning of the game, the first playable character is Darth Vader. Vader travels to Kashyyyk in order to find and eliminate another Jedi who escaped Order 66. During the level, Vader is taught the basics of how to use the Force. Which of these do you not learn while playing as Vader?

Answer: Force Dash

Vader knows how to choke, push and impale, but he does not dash. Starkiller learns that ability during his mission at the TIE construction facility. After lord Vader's mission on Kashyyyk, he takes Starkiller as his apprentice. Starkiller's first mission is to confront General Kota at the TIE construction facility above Nar Shaddaa. General Rahm Kota is a tough, veteran Jedi from the Clone Wars. General Kota always believed that an army of clones was not a good idea because they would be easily swayed to turn against their leaders.

Therefore, Master Kota used his own militia during the Clone Wars. Kota's mistrust of the clones saved his life when Order 66 came down from Chancellor Palpatine. Since there were no clones in his squad, Kota survived Palpatine's Jedi purge and went into hiding.

He was eventually found and confronted by Darth Vader's apprentice.
2. After Starkiller defeats Master Kota, Darth Vader gives him orders to go to the Jedi Temple. Vader says that he is easily distracted and lacks focus. While he is at the Jedi Temple, Starkiller encounters a visage of Darth Desolous. True or false: Desolous was once a Jedi Master.

Answer: True

According to the databank of information onboard the Rogue Shadow, Darth Desolous was once a respected Jedi who lived long before the Clone Wars. His name as a Jedi is not known, as his desire for power led him to the Dark Side. He was known for his use of a cortosis shield, which would block any enemy attack.

After an attempeted attack, Desolous would be able to counter with his own attack. His desire for power led to the slaughter of thousands of Jedi. He became more confident and more powerful with each assassination. Desolous' name became synonymous with fear, and after his death, the Jedi Order used his likeness to test young Padawans during the trials. Desolous visage was used in Starkiller's trial of skill.
3. Starkiller's next assignment is to travel to the junk strewn planet of Raxus Prime. Raxus is the galaxy's junkyard, and is home to a Jedi Knight who banished himself there after abandoning the rest of the Jedi during Order 66. Who is this reclusive and now delusional Jedi?

Answer: Kazdan Paratus

Kazdan Paratus became a Jedi Knight by using his intellect. He did not go through the normal rigors of a Jedi Padawan, but developed his own ways he could succeed and become a Jedi. He used his own personal mechanisms to aid in combat. As Darth Vader led the 501st legion to the Jedi Temple to execute Order 66, Kazdan panicked and fled to Raxus Prime. Despondent from his guilt, Paratus exiled himself, and his dedication to the Order drove him insane. Paratus fashioned a replica of the Jedi Temple, and even made junk likenesses of each member of the Jedi Council.

His devotion to the Order made him extremely dangerous and deadly. However, he could not defend his "council" from Starkiller.
4. After his first mission on Raxus Prime, Starkiller's next assignment is to go back to the Jedi Temple to continue the Jedi Trials. His next trial, the trial of insight tests his skill against a visage of Darth Phobos. Who does Darth Phobos pretend to be during their lightsaber battle?

Answer: Juno Eclipse

Darth Phobos lived long before the Clone Wars and was a very feared member of the Sith. Her thirst for blood reached beyond that of any other Sith. The Sith eventually turned her away because she was so cruel. During her exile, she gathered many to her side and started a cult devoted to her.

The Jedi realized that Phobos was a major threat to the safety of the galaxy, and temporarily joined the Sith in order to destroy her. After Phobos was killed in battle by Jedi and Sith warriors, the Jedi used her visage as part of the Jedi trials.

Her ability to morph into the likeness of someone close to the student was instrumental in a Padawan's ability to see through deception.
5. Once Starkiller completes his trial of insight at the Jedi Temple, Darth Vader contacts him and gives him his next mission. Vader tells Starkiller to travel to Felucia to confront and eliminate one of the last members of the Jedi Council. Who is Starkiller's next victim?

Answer: Shaak Ti

Jedi Master Shaak Ti was a vital part of the survival of the Jedi Order, both before and after Order 66. She was one of the many Jedi who joined Master Yoda on Geonosis to rescue Anakin, Obi-Wan and, Padme. She was also at the Jedi Temple when Order 66 was issued. Master Ti put up a great fight, but she knew she couldn't last long, so she made sure some Jedi and Padawans escaped and fled Courscant. On her way across the galaxy, she encountered another young Jedi, Maris Brood, who lost her Master when he went in search of answers. Shaak Ti took Maris Brood under her wing and they both landed on Felucia. Native Felucians are very sensitive to the ways of the Force, and Master Ti used that to forge a relationship with them. That way, if they were ever discovered, the Felucian warriors would be able to protect Maris.

Unfortunately, with the arrival of Starkiller, that plan failed. After Shaak Ti's demise, Felucia fell into darkness. Maris Brood became a pawn of the Dark Side with her taste for revenge, and plunged the natives down with her.

She even went so far as to capture Senator Bail Organa when he came looking for Shaak Ti. When Starkiller came back for the Senator, Maris fought him, but to no avail. He let her go after the battle, knowing she would never truly be free from what she had done.
6. After Starkiller was stabbed and saved by Darth Vader, he was told to gather a group of rebels to oppose the Empire. Starkiller began his search for Master Rahm Kota. He found General Kota in a bar on Nar Shaddaa. What is the name of this bar?

Answer: The Undertow

When Starkiller first fought General Kota above Nar Shaddaa, Kota told him that he would be a part of Starkiller's future. Starkiller told Juno that he hoped that Kota was right, and the two went in search of him. The Undertow is a place where anyone could go to avoid any Imperial entanglements. Starkiller had to fight his way through the scum in the Undertow to get to Master Kota. Just before he and Kota made it out of the Undertow, Starkiller even battled an Imperial Shadowguard. Once back on the Rogue Shadow, Starkiller tells Juno to take him back to the Jedi Temple.

His third visit to the Jedi Temple was his final test in the Jedi Trials. His trial of spirit put him against a visage of his father. After his trial of spirit, General Kota told Starkiller that he had been contacted by Senator Bail Organa, who needed their help on Kashyyyk.

His daughter Leia had been sent to Kashyyyk by Palpatine, and Master Kota had Starkiller rescue her.
7. After rescuing Leia from Kashyyyk, Master Kota told Starkiller he couldn't find Senator Organa. They went to Felucia, which was the last place Organa was seen. Once on Felucia, Starkiller encountered Maris Brood. Maris' pet kept Starkiller distracted while she escaped with Organa. What did Maris Brood keep as her pet?

Answer: Bull Rancor

Master Shaak Ti gave Maris the order to go to the rancor graveyard when Starkiller arrived on Felucia. After Master Ti's death, Felucia fell into darkness. As Maris continued to hide in the graveyard, she somehow befriended the bull rancor who protected the graveyard. Bull rancors are older and much harder to domesticate than normal rancors. Somehow, Maris was able to tame and make friends with the bull rancor.

When Starkiller came for Senator Organa, Maris took Organa back from him. Starkiller said he did not want to hurt her, and Maris said he wouldn't be able to hurt her because her pet wouldn't let him.

The bull rancor battled Starkiller while Maris escaped with Senator Organa. Starkiller of course won the battle, sending the bull rancor down to join the rest in the graveyard.

Then he went and freed Organa after defeating Maris in battle. He let her live, against the advice of the Senator, who said Maris reminded him too much of Darth Vader. Starkiller knew she would never truly be free because she would be tormented the rest of her life by what she had done on Felucia.
8. After rescuing Senator Organa from Maris Brood, Starkiller contacted Darth Vader to seek his advice on what to do next. Vader told him to attack an Imperial construction facility above Raxus Prime. What was being built above Raxus Prime?

Answer: Star Destroyers

Lord Vader told Starkiller to attack and destroy the Imperial shipyard above Raxus Prime. During the days of the Old Republic, Raxus Prime was just one of several planets that were used as a junkyard. Using enough resources to support the entire galaxy produced planetfuls of waste. Raxus Prime was one of the main planets that were used as a dumping ground, and are now covered by centuries of waste.

After the death of Kazdan Paratus, the Empire set up shop and actually put the refuse to good use. They used the raw materials from the surface of Raxus Prime to build their menacing Star Destroyers.

The Imperials on the ground would collect the raw materials they gathered, melt them down, and beam them into space with a cannon. Starkiller was told by Darth Vader to destroy the entire facility.

In order to accomplish this monumental task, Starkiller would need to take control of the cannon. He would need to then fire the melted ore directly at the facility orbiting the planet. Since the Raxus Prime facility is a valuable Imperial asset, the Emperor has placed an entire legion of Stormtroopers in the facility to protect it. Starkiller must fight through the Stormtroopers in order to reach the cannon.
9. General Kota told Starkiller after his Raxus Prime mission that he had been contacted by Senator Garm Bel Iblis. They traveled to Cloud City in order to meet him, but before Starkiller found him, he found out that the entire city was overrun with criminals. Who was the leader of these criminals?

Answer: Chop'aa Notimo

Chop'aa Notimo was known as the last of the Mandalorian race, and was a leading member of the galactic black market. His gang of thugs and taken over Cloud City, and for Starkiller to find Senator Bel Iblis, he needed to fight his way through Notimo's thugs. Once he was through most of the thugs, Cloud City's administrator Lobot, told Starkiller that the senator had been captured by Notimo's right hand man, a gungan mercenary named Kleef. Kleef was a member of the gungan army at the battle of Naboo, and later joined Jar Jar Binks senatorial team. Kleef was a part of Jar Jar's security detail, but quickly got bored.

He became a bounty hunter and soon joined Chop'aa Notimo and his gang. Once Starkiller took care of Kleef, he went after Notimo and Senator Bel Iblis. Notimo attacked him with a group of Mandalorian soldiers, who were of course no match for Starkiller.

Then Chop'aa himself fought Starkiller with a giant mechanical device he built himself. Once Starkiller destroyed Notimo's machine, he fought and defeated Notimo personally.

After rescuing Garm Bel Iblis, those that opposed the Empire gathered on Corellia to begin the rebellion. Lord Vader surprised them all and his Stormtroopers took them all as prisoners to Emperor Palpatine. After a brief battle, Vader threw Starkiller down and left. Juno rescued Starkiller and they decided to go after the Rebels and Darth Vader. Starkiller sensed that they were being taken to the Death Star, and he told Juno to take him there. Once there, he began fighting his way through more Stormtroopers.
10. Near the end of the Death Star level, Starkiller battled Darth Vader and defeated him, pushing him through the door that led to where the Emperor was holding the Rebels. There are two possible endings to the story. Who must Starkiller fight to finish the story the way it actually happened in the "Star Wars" saga?

Answer: The Emperor

The Emperor urged Starkiller to kill Darth Vader and take his place at the Emperor's right hand. General Kota attempted to intervene, and the Emperor began to electrocute Kota. Starkiller had a decision to make: fight Darth Vader and avenge his father's death, or save General Kota by taking on the Emperor. If he chose Vader, he would defeat him, but the Emperor would destroy the Rebels and Starkiller would become his new right hand man. Taking on the Emperor would save Kota, and free the Rebels. Once the Emperor was beaten, instead of finishing him, Starkiller did what any good Jedi would do and let him live. Juno Eclipse then drove the Rogue Shadow through the wall in order to extract the Rebels. Palpatine attempted to electrocute Kota again, but Starkiller stepped in front and took the shock.

He told the Rebels to go and continued to battle with Palpatine. Kota took the Emperor's lightsaber and defended the Rebels from the oncoming Stormtroopers as they boarded the Rogue Shadow. With Starkiller sacrificing himself, the Rebels escaped the Death Star and officially began the Rebel Alliance on Kashyyyk. And the rest of the story is of course played out in episodes 4, 5, and 6 of the "Star Wars" saga.
