1. In this area of the game, we can visit the "Chocolate Secret" level and the "Donut Secret 2" level. Where are we?

Answer: Valley of Bowser

In "Valley of Bowser", we are basically right on Bowser's doorstep. We can take a long route to his front door by passing through Larry's Castle, or we can take the back door route by defeating Reznor in the "Valley Fortress". We could visit the "Chocolate Secret" and "Donut Secret 2" levels, but we'd need to take pipes located around the world to reach them.

2. We are now in a level which mostly takes place within a giant cave. Where are we?

Answer: Vanilla Dome

Vanilla Dome is home to the "Red Switch Palace". We could also take an alternate route to the highest point on the island by finding the secret exit in the first Vanilla Dome level. At the top of the cave, there is another fortress with another Reznor boss.

3. There are more warp points in this area than levels. Where are we?

Answer: Star Road

To get to Star Road, we have to visit the Star Road warp points around the island. These are located in Donut Plains, Vanilla Dome, Cheese Bridge Area, Forest of Illusion, and Valley of Bowser. The only way we can navigate to different levels within Star Road is if we find the secret exits to the levels.

4. In this area, Ludwig Von Koopa reigns supreme until we blast his castle into a mountain. Which area are we in?

Answer: Cheese Bridge Area

Cheese Bridge Area doesn't only include Cheese Bridge, but it also includes the Butter Bridge which is just overtop of it. We can also make our way down the bridge to another level and a Star Road warp point, but we'll need Yoshi to unlock the route.

5. In the beginning of the game, we progressed through this area and fought Iggy Koopa in the end. What did we do this in?

Answer: Yoshi's Island

Yoshi's Island is where we start our adventure. From here, we can get to the "Yellow Switch Palace", and we can learn the essential controls of the game. We can also visit Yoshi's house on the southern tip of the island.

6. In this area, we can visit levels like "Outrageous", "Funky", and "Tubular". Where are we?

Answer: Special World

In Special World, there are eight cool, new levels that we can visit. To get to Special World, we have to find the secret exit in "Star Road 5" and take the hidden Star Road warp point. At the end of Special World, we can enter another Star Road warp point that does a couple of secret things. For example, the island changes seasons from summer to fall.

7. This area is accessed after we beat Roy Koopa in the fifth castle. Which area are we in?

In Chocolate Land, we beat many rocky, barren levels to reach Wendy Koopa in the sixth castle. There is also the "Chocolate Secret" level which lets us skip most of the levels and go directly to Wendy's castle.

In Forest of Illusion, we need to find many secret exits to find our way around. There are many different paths which lead in useless directions, and we could end up finding new paths to levels we've already beaten. To unlock the "Blue Switch Palace", we need to find the secret exit in the "Forest of Illusion 2" level.

9. This area contains a level called "Top Secret Area". Which area is it?

Answer: Donut Land

To unlock "Top Secret Area", we need to find the secret exit in the "Donut Ghost House". There is also a "Secret Ghost House" in Donut Land, and by defeating the Big Boo within it, we can find a Star Road warp point. We can also find the "Green Switch Palace" in this area.

10. "Sunken Ghost Ship" is an area all on its own.

The official player's guide for this game states that this level is also a stage (or area). "Sunken Ghost Ship" can be accessed right after we defeat Wendy Koopa in Chocolate Land. There are many Boos within the level, and we are falling through a large portion of the ship.
