Which "Street Fighter" Female Am I? Quiz

Answer: Chun Li

With a name meaning "Spring Beauty" in Chinese, Chun Li is a Chinese fighter and Interpol agent who first appeared in "Street Fighter 2" (but whose back story actually begins in "Street Fighter Alpha 2"). She spends years training and tracking down M.Bison's Shadaloo organisation in the hopes of coming face-to-face with Bison himself, who was responsible for the death of her father.

Other bits of official trivia include the fact that Chun Li is a great fan of Bruce Lee (who inspired her to become a fighter) and she knows how to play the "erhu", a traditional Chinese instrument.

Answer: Pullum

Pullum Purna is from a wealthy Indian family and one day she found her grandfather had been brainwashed by Shadaloo. Upon some investigation, she found that her family's wealth was due to her father's involvement in M.Bison's organisation and her grandfather had been brainwashed as a punishment for her father's betrayal of the organisation. Along with fellow "Street Fighter Ex" characters Blair and Darun, she set out to track down M.Bison and give him a piece of her mind.

Answer: R.Mika

Rainbow Mika (or simple R.Mika) hails from Japan and makes her first appearance in "Street Fighter Alpha 3". In order to gain publicity to become a Pro Wrestler, she joins the Street Fighter tournament and hopes that winning that would make her a "Superstar of the Ring".

She also wants to show fellow wrestler Zangief that she is worthy competition. R.Mike sports a very wacky outfit which makes her stand out from many of the other female characters in the series.

Answer: Blair Dame

Blair Dame makes her "Street Fighter" debut in "Street Fighter Ex". She grew up in a rather sheltered family and was educated in martial arts. She has a sister, Sharon, who is a spy and assassin (who makes her first appearance in "Street Fighter Ex 2"). Little else is known about Blair as she seems to have been deprived of much of a personality by her Capcom creators!

Answer: Cammy

The pigtailed swimsuit wearing Cammy was once an Shadaloo assassin for M.Bison, brainwashed to serve him and enhanced with biotechnology to make her a perfect killer (she is with Shadaloo in the "SF Zero" series, which is set before, and made after, her initial appearance in "Super Street Fighter 2"). Suffering from amnesia, she is then dumped with Delta Red, a British Anti-Terrorist Special Force team ("Super Street Fighter 2"). Cammy was portrayed onscreen in the "Street Fighter" movie by singer and actress Kylie Minogue, alongside Jean Claude van Damme ("Guile") and the late Raul Julia ("M.Bison").

Answer: Elena

First appearing in "Street Fighter 3", Elena is an African princess with bright white hair and blue eyes. She has a great respect for nature and uses dance-like Capoeira as her fighting style to take full advantage of her long legs. She entered the tournament in the hope that she can prove herself to be worthy of being a great tribal leader like her father.

Answer: Juli

A spy and soldier of the Shadaloo organisation, Juli is ordered by her boss, M.Bison, to find and destroy Cammy. Like Cammy, her past is uncertain and she has been brainwashed to serve Shadaloo. She's usually seen teaming up with another assassin, Juni. Juli makes her debut in "Street Fighter Alpha 3".

Answer: Hokuto

Hokuto was trained as a member of the Bushinryu ninja clan and had 2 siblings, Kairi and Nanase (who also appear in the "Street Fighter Ex" series). When she finds out that her brother Kairi had left home and had been feared to have followed the evil path of "Ashura", Hokuto tracked down her wayward sibling, only to be defeated by her brother and fall under the control of the warrior Akuma.

Her younger sister Nanase was thus left with the task of saving her 2 siblings.

Answer: Karin

Karin Kanzuki's family motto is "Be the winner of everything" and she would gladly follow this advice and put her rival, Sakura, in her place. Karin is the only daughter of a corporate family and loves to show off, especially if she can prove that she is a better fighter than Sakura.

Despite being wealthy, she prefers to fight for herself, though she has a servant to bring her a refreshing drink after she has won a fight. Karin made her debut appearance in "Street Fighter Alpha 3".

Answer: Nanase

Nanase joins the series in "Street Fighter Ex 2" to find her brother Kairi and sister Hokuto, who both became evil pupils of Akuma. Like her siblings, she is a member of the Bushinryu clan and is of Japanese origin.

Answer: Ibuki

Ibuki made her debut in "Street Fighter 3". Born in a small mountain town, she is a rather ordinary Japanese girl except she has been trained in Ninjitsu by her father and teacher, Geki, since preschool. Her wish was to lead a very normal life once she has finished her training. Sadly Ibuki lacks an extensive background, like many of the more recent "Street Fighter" characters.

Answer: Sakura

Sakura Kasugano, a Japanese schoolgirl clad in the stereotypical short school skirt, has been in a good number of "Street Fighter" games, her first appearance being in "Street Fighter Alpha 2". She idolises Ryu and follows him around the world, hoping that she can convince him to train her in Shotokan Karate.

While she idolises Ryu, she dislikes Karin, her rival. Sakura's friends disapprove of her unhealthy interest in street fighting.

Answer: Makoto

Makoto made her first appearance in "Street Fighter 3 : Third Strike". Sporting a karate outfit, complete with black belt, and well-trained in karate, Makoto's father runs a dojo in Japan. When things go badly for the dojo and it loses some of its prestige, Makoto plans to enter the tournament and win back some of the dojo's lost pride.

Answer: Juni

Often found hanging around with Juli, Juni is a Shadaloo assassin who was ordered by M.Bison to pursue Ryu and collect his data (DNA, perhaps?) as a sample. Juni and Juli are possibly clones and both were enhanced with biotechnology. Juni first appears in "Street Fighter Alpha 3".

Answer: Rose

The mysterious Rose, who is introduced in "Street Fighter Alpha", wields a mystic power known as the "Soul Power". Her telepathic powers and inner strength guide her as she starts on her quest to seal M.Bison's powers away, possibly at the cost of her own life. One of her victory poses sees her transform from her normal outfit into a glamorous ballgown. Rose is of Italian origin and seems quite happy to fight in high-heels.
