Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the name of the Alliance town in Nagrand?

Answer: Telaar

Telaar is the only Alliance-specific town in all of Nagrand. Found at the intersection of three paths in the southern part of the zone, Telaar, like many other Alliance towns in the Outlands, is a Draenei-run outpost. Featuring the vast majority of Alliance quests for this area, Telaar is the one stop that traveling players must take. Containing the only Alliance flightpath, an inn (for Hearthstones), and a number of traders, it's bound to be visited numerous times by questers.
2. Garadar contains a flightpath for Horde players.

Answer: True

Garadar is the only Horde-specific city found in Nagrand and it's actually the largest of its type in the zone. It's the largest source of Horde quests in the area and it's in the near-center of the map. The only flightpath location for Horde in Nagrand, players can come here to set a Hearthstone or to trade some items, but like Telaar, it's quite simply a hub for players to stop into if they need to proceed through the zone; a one-stop shop for all your questing needs and such. Garrosh Hellscream is responsible for controlling forces at this camp though it's not the only place you can find him in the game.
3. Did you end up traveling through Stranglethorn Vale? What is the name of the questgiver, originally found there, who appears in Nagrand?

Answer: Hemet Nesingwary

Hemet Nesingwary and his caravan will hand out a number of special quests which, when finished, will award an achievement for your efforts. Found slightly northeast of Garadar, Nesingwary leads a safari. An accomplished author, Nesingwary is one of the more familiar faces you'll meet in your travels. For "Wrath of the Lich King" players, you can find Hemet on the hunt once more in Sholazar Basin.

He'll give out a similar quest chain there as well. His Stranglethorn Vale quests (though originally handed out by himself) are now handed out by his son, Hemet Nesingwary Jr. who will give you the 'Green Hills of of Stranglethorn' achievement.
4. Who is the final opponent in the Ring of Blood?

Answer: Mogor

A large battle arena found on one side of the Laughing Skull Clan Ruins in the north of Nagrand, the Ring of Blood is home to a number of one-on-one battles for players looking to prove their worth in battle. In incrementally more difficult battles, players will face off six times in the ring before a culminating battle against Mogor, Hero of the Warmaul. Everyone who completes all the battles will end up earning a ton of experience, money, and items, so it's definitely worth it. None of these are one-on-one battles. Large groups of players can also team up to defeat the foes pitted against you in this situation.

A number of quests can also be completed in the adjacent ruins with the Ogres.
5. Which of these NPCs does not wait at the Throne of Elements?

Answer: Aeranas

Along with the three NPCs listed in the question, Kalandrios also patrols the Throne of Elements. This area to the north across Skysong Lake is home to many neutral quests given by the local humans. Of the four elemental creatures, only Gordawg is a quest-giver; during his quest chain you'll need to kill Gurok the Usurper in this zone.

The Elementals are exceedingly powerful creatures, unbeatable by any player. The lake to the south is also filled with many mana creatures, as are the waterways to the south of Nagrand in the Southwind Cleft.
6. Oshu'Gun is made of what substance?

Answer: Diamond

The largest diamond found in the "World of Warcraft", this large feature in the southwest of Nagrand is home to a rather extensively long cave populated by magical creatures and their avid supporters. At the very end of this cavern you can find K'Ure, necessary for the final (longest) quest chain of Nagrand culminating with a number of Auchindoun quests and. Without entering this instance area in Terokkar Forest, players will not be able to complete the Nagrand quest completion achievement.
Once players visit K'Ure for their quests, they will need to go to Shattrath City to visit A'Dal.
7. How many Forge Camps are found near Twilight Ridge?

Answer: Two

The Twilight Ridge is the only area in Nagrand which can't be accessed unless the player has a flying mount. Despite this, however, one can explore it by jumping around the cliffs to the area's north ridge. The Twilight Ridge is one of the higher-level regions in the zone with its enemies reaching the high-level-60s. Forge Camp: Fear and Forge Camp: Hate are both next to the Twilight Ridge near the western path.

Here, players can find some of the more difficult quests in Nagrand, most of which involve destroying the camps with their own weapons. You may need to weed out the proper engineer though.
8. Which region borders Nagrand to the north?

Answer: Zangarmarsh

Stretching across the entire northern border of Nagrand, Zangarmarsh is a slightly lower-level-range zone situated on a darkened bogland. You can enter Zangarmarsh from the northwest corner of Nagrand and you'll end up near the Cenarion Watchpost, just down the road from Sporeggar and the Horde city of Zabra'Jin. To the east, players can enter both Shattrath City, the hub city of Outlands, or Terokkar Forest, a near-similar level-ranged zone (to Zangarmarsh).

This area, which is relatively greener than the adjacent Hellfire Peninsula, contains one large instance zone in its south-central region known as Auchindoun.
9. Halaa is surrounded by how many capture points?

Answer: Four

Found near the center of the zone, Halaa is the area's world PVP location. Containing four different capturable camps, players can combat here in order to take control of a central village which gives its perks to the leading faction. Guarded by fifteen enemies, the village will also include a small capture the flag-like task which must be completed in order to gain control. Once your side has the region, you'll receive a buff which increases you overall damage zone-wide (always a nice thing). Quests found inside Telaar and Garadar will take you here for reputation.
10. How many instances can be found in Nagrand?

Answer: None

Nagrand, unlike most other areas in the Outlands, is devoid of instanced areas though much of the battles held here are held in the densely-populated wilderness. Instead of hopping into an instance, players can explore one of the Forge Camps, the Twilight Ridge, or Halaa if they so decide that they need to expand their horizons. If players are dead set on an instance, the closest ones are the four dungeons of Auchindoun in Terokkar Forest and the four dungeons in Coilfang Reservoir to the north in Zangarmarsh. Both instance areas contain dungeons and raids for players from level 60 and above, even some that are more difficult for level 70 players.
