Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of these cities does not contain a flightpath to the Isle of Quel'Danas?

Answer: The Sepulcher

The Sepulcher, found in Silverpine Forest along the western coast of Lordaeron (in the Eastern Kingdoms) is not one of the main flightpath locations leading directly to the Isle of Quel'Danas though the Alliance city of Ironforge is much further away. Players can fly to the Isle of Quel'Danas at any point from Silvermoon City (if you're Horde), Ironforge (if you're Alliance), Light's Hope Chapel, or Hatchet Hills (if you're Horde again). If you connect to any of these locations through other flightpaths, you can still fly there.
2. Players can not swim to the Isle of Quel'Danas.

Answer: True

Due to the unmeasured distance between the Isle of Quel'Danas and both Eversong Woods (the Horde/Blood Elf starting area) to the south on the tip of the Eastern Kingdoms and the Howling Fjord at the southeast tip of Northrend, players will need to find other means of traveling to this lush island with similar scenery and foliage as Eversong Woods.

Despite this, a number of quests on the island will allow players to hop into the waters surrounding Quel'Danas to explore- just don't swim too far out!
3. How many areas of the Isle of Quel'Danas need to be explored in order for a player gain the 'Explore the Isle of Quel'Danas' achievement?

Answer: One

As soon as players touch down in Sun's Reach Harbor, the map of the Isle of Quel'Danas reveals itself in its entirety. This doesn't mean that you're done necessarily as you can cross the expanse of the island to uncover the names of each location, but you do obtain both the view of the region as well as the achievement upon your arrival. Like with many of the other zones in the game, this exploration achievement only equates to about 10 Achievement Points, but it's just another step on a player's 'Explorer' title track.
4. The Dead Scar stretches up through the Isle of Quel'Danas. Where does this odd feature begin?

Answer: The Ghostlands

Created by the undead forces which have trekked from Deatholme, across Eversong Woods and into the North Sea, the Dead Scar is a straight tear across the majority of Quel'Thalas. Players going across this won't be too surprised to see undead creatures.

While in Eversong Woods and the Ghostlands, the creatures found in the Dead Scar won't surpass level 20, the creatures in the Dead Scar of the Isle of Quel'Danas will be around level 70, meaning that you should probably be around the same before attempting to venture into it.

This island is the terminus of the Dead Scar; the final fight reaches this location.
5. Which of these is not in Sun's Reach?

Answer: Tower

Sun's Reach is the Isle of Quel'Danas' main city, and players visiting the zone will always end up here, regardless of faction. The Dead Scar ends at the perimeter of this large city which has prepared for an all-out war against the undead forces. The Armory, Harbor, and Sanctum are all in relatively close locations to one another, and each one contains a number of NPC questgivers for players level 70 and up.

The city contains an inn with a hearthstone location as well as flightpath locations at the Harbor.

The Shattered Sun Offensive bases its operations out of this city.
6. Which ship is not among the fleet at the north end of the Isle of Quel'Danas?

Answer: The Sunwell

A total of three ships are anchored off the northern coast of the Isle of Quel'Danas, and each one is piloted by Blood Elves sent to protect Sun's Reach. The Sunwell is not the name of a ship, but it's referred to by many NPCs in the Eversong Woods zone. All three ships are essentially stranded in their location as the sails have been set ablaze by the fiendish enemies along the entire island's coastline.

Some of these include large flaming golems and Hellspawns. The southernmost ship, the Sin'Loren, can be visited if you fly onto it.
7. Which type of force does not occupy Dawnstar Village?

Answer: Dawnblade Headhunter

Both the Dawning Square and Dawnstar Village are occupied by dangerous near-level 70 enemies who will not hesitate to attack if anyone nears their territory. Due to the narrow pathways in the area, there is a high density of enemy creatures in both of these areas.

The Dawning Square to the south contains a portal through which demonic creatures emerge while the Dawnstar Village to the north contains evil Blood elves of numerous types. One of the NPCs in Sun's Reach will specifically send you to Dawnstar Village to thin out numbers, but make sure you're strong enough to fight off numerous strong enemies at once.
8. Greengill Coast is populated by which of these?

Answer: Both of these

Greengill Coast is on the eastern coast of the Isle of Quel'Danas, and while it's simply an underscore to the events occurring around the rest of the island, players may find it necessary to pay the shore a visit to defeat some of the Murlocs and Nagas found there. One of the NPCs on Silvermoon's Pride, a docked ship, will give a quest to players who wish to clear out some of the Greengill Murlocs and Darkspine Nagas, though I'd suggest only attempting them if you're around level 70; they'll be about the same level.
9. Which of these is the final boss of the Magister's Terrace?

Answer: Kael'thas Sunstrider

Magister's Terrace is the lesser of two evils so to speak. An instanced dungeon just slightly up a hill from Sun's Reach, this dangerous five-man dungeon is one of the more difficult "Burning Crusade" instances released. With a meager four bosses and a small area to fight in, the entire thing shouldn't take too long, but it's a doozy.

Many of the elite enemies found inside will be much stronger than the average level 70 character or enemy. Kael'thas Sunstrider, the final boss of the chambers, is the level 72 Lord of the Blood Elves.

The other three options are bosses in the same instance.
10. Magister's Terrace is one of two instances in the zone. What is the name of the second?

Answer: The Sunwell Plateau

Regarded as perhaps the most difficult dungeon in the entirety of "Burning Crusade", the Sunwell Plateau is a difficult-for-level-70 instance across a small bridge from Sun's Reach. Culminating to an extensive final boss battle against Kil'jaeden, a large fiery demon creature, the dungeon is quite extensive, and all of its monsters include a buff to have better melee attacks and block abilities. Quite simply, until "Wrath of the Lich King" was released, this was the end-all battle of the game. Most players make their way through Sunwell Plateau in order to claim Tier 6 armor.
