Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. At the start of the game, your city/spaceship, New Los Angeles, crash-lands into the planet Mira. Which continent does it land in?

Answer: Primordia

New Los Angeles (NLA) is the habitation module of the White Whale, a colony ship that humanity sent out before Earth was destroyed. It remained intact after it crashed into Mira and serves as the base of operations throughout the game.
2. Inside New Los Angeles, there are several districts. Which of these is the district where the BLADE Tower, the tallest building in the city, is located?

Answer: Administrative District

BLADE Tower is the home of the administration of BLADE, the organization responsible for humanity's survival on a new planet. Other notable locations in the Administrative District include Armory Alley, the BLADE Concourse, and Division Drive.
3. Venturing outside New Los Angeles, you find the land of Primordia, a grassy, plains-type continent with spectacular rock formations. Which of these is NOT a feature of Primordia?

Answer: Lake Ciel

Lake Ciel is located in Sylvalum, to the north of Primordia. Janpath Lake and Janpath Plain are located in the eastern part of the continent, and are home to a wide variety of creatures. BLADE did build a water purification plant outside of NLA, and your character often has to help ensure that it keeps functioning properly.
4. Venturing west of Primordia, the continent Noctilum emerges. Which of these is the best description of its landscape?

Answer: Jungle

Noctilum is mostly a jungle or a swamp, with bright flowers and enormous trees. It is usually the second continent that you receive missions in.
5. What is the Noctilum's most prominent feature in the northern part of the continent?

Answer: A waterfall with a large red plant

There is no way to ascend the waterfall without having the flight module for your exoskeleton, which is received late in the game. The reward is great, though; there are some of the most powerful enemies in the game up there. They drop valuable materials that you can use to make gear.
6. Moving eastward now, there is a desert world east of Primordia. What is its name?

Answer: Oblivia

Oblivia is mostly desert, but it does have a sizeable oasis in the North, which is home to a caravan of Nopon. Oblivia also boasts a floating island and parts of the White Whale colony ship.
7. Which of these groups does NOT have a base or base camp in Oblivia?

Answer: Manon

The Manon parked their ship right above New Los Angeles, not in Oblivia. The Wrothians took refuge in a cave after seceding from the Ganglion. The Ganglion themselves have a base on a large cliff on the coast. Humankind has set up several base camps for specific purposes.
8. Up north to Sylvalum, which of these is NOT an actual location?

Answer: Mount Ciel

Sylvalum has a varied geography, from the large Lake Ciel to great stone features to its Sandesas. Many diverse creatures dwell there too.
9. What is the name of the area on the border between Sylvalum and Cauldros?

Answer: Cauldros Threshold

The Cauldros Threshold is a transitional area that has few notable features. It does play a huge psychological role in the story, though; stepping under that arch for the first time is meant to be breathtaking.
10. Which of these best describes Cauldros?

Answer: A magma-ridden Ganglion stronghold

Cauldros is home to many high-level indigenous creatures as well as many Ganglion bosses. Despite being a fiery wasteland, it still hosts a Nopon caravan.
