Answer: Outset

Link lives there with his sister and grandma, along with a few neighbors. On Outset island the fighting brother (downstairs in a building near your house) will eventually challenge you to a duel. If you get 300 hits on him before he hits you three times, he will give you a whopping 100 rupees. Also, if you bring him 10 knights crests (stolen from Dark Nuts after removing their helmets with a dodge attack) he will teach you the whirlwind attack (very useful).

While fighting the old brother, try jabbing twice to get some hits in, then do a backflip. If he doesn't attack, do a jump attack. If he does, just press the dodge button.

At the beginning, on Outset island, capture the three pigs by crouching (R) and crawling up to them. then simply get up and calmly lift them (A). Once you have them, bring them to the pen behind the brothers's house and throw them in. The lady there will give you 20 rupees for each one. (I'm not sure, but there might be an extra later on if you get all three.)

Answer: Telescope

This item is automatic; you get it in the opening sequence. Once you're on the hunt for triforce maps, go to Windfall. Go up to the bridge to the Forest and look through the telescope where the guy is looking with his telescope. You will see a giant headstone. If you have the bracelets, change the wind that way and soar with the deku leaf. (Make sure your magic is full). Lift the stone, and inside will be a series of about 50 rooms filled to the brim with baddies.

Besides the beginning and a half-way checkpoint, there are no chances to refill hearts, so be careful. To refill hearts, simply kill as much guys as you need to feel safe, then steal from them with the grappling hook. Usually an enemy will give you hearts if you do.

These girls are hardly noticeable, but you hear more from them later. To get a few extra goodies, try laying some bait in front of the rat holes. They will sell you various items.

Answer: Sail

Although Windfall is the place with the most extras and such, you only really have to buy the sail from the eskimo guy. (except for one instance). To get the pictograph and save tingle, go towards the gate but turn left. there will be an uphill with a door in the wall. go in the door and rescue tingle by pressing a switch hidden under a pot. then push the crate in the cell and go through a series of tunnels. If you don't go on the wooden boards, you will eventually make it to the pictograph.

Answer: Rito

The rito are the flying bird-people that are almost all postmen. After you get the bottle from Medli, fill it with water. Then use the water on the shriveled bomb-flowers. Finally, throw the nourished bomb down at the rock, and water fills the pool. Now you can get into the first dungeon.

Answer: Valoo

This dragon gives wings to the Ruto, but is being trapped and is being tormented by baddies (the gohma). The point of the first dungeon is to rescue him. If you sort 25 letters inside the island, a series of events happen. Do it again for the new employee, deliver his letter, and in a few days, you will get a letter containing a piece of heart.

Answer: A Pearl

Komali gives this to you for saving Valoo. When you first get on dragon roost, look up. If you have the arrows, shoot one at the closest bomb flower and a chest with 200 rupees comes down.

Answer: Koroks

The Koroks are descendants of the Kokiris (de ja vu, eh?). The point of the second dungeon is to rescue a Korok needed to perform the ceremony needed to plant new trees. Once you get the deku leaf, keep going up. One path is to the Nintendo Gallery (open it with a seagull by giving it a hoyi pear and flying into the switch) and even higher is a path to a treasure chart.

Answer: Chu-Chus

To get the Chu-chus down, you have to roll into the tree. If you're having trouble getting to the second dungeon, use the deku leaf to go into the cyclone to get much higher. Also make sure to put the wind in the right direction.
