1. Which US state shares borders with Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota and South Dakota?

Answer: Montana

At 147,042 sq miles, Montana in America's 4th-largest state (after Alaska, Texas and California). It has a similar land area to Japan. With just under 1 million residents, though, it is the 44th-largest state in terms of population. With less than 7 inhabitants per square mile, only Alaska and Wyoming are less densely populated.
2. Scoresby Sund, the world's longest fjord, is in which country?

Answer: Greenland

The main body of Scoresby Sund stretches some 70 miles into Greenland's east coast from the Greenland Sea. The entire branch-like system of fjords cover 14,700 square miles with the longest extending more than 220 miles from the coast.
3. The Celtic Sea is part of which larger body of water?

Answer: Atlantic Ocean

The Celtic Sea ('La mer Celtique' to the French), is part of the Atlantic Ocean. It has coastlines in southern Ireland, Brittany in France and the English counties of Devon and Cornwall. Its sea borders are with the Saint George's Channel to the northeast, the Bristol Channel and the English Channel to the east, and the Bay of Biscay to the south.

The Tasman Sea separates New Zealand from Australia. Craddock Channel connects the Hauraki Gulf northeast of New Zealand's largest city, Auckland, to the Pacific Ocean. Tamaki Strait separates the North Island from Waiheke Island.
10. Which US state is nicknamed The Nutmeg State?

Answer: Connecticut

Connecticut has two principal nicknames, 'The Nutmeg State' and 'The Constitution State'. Other names that also refer to the country's 48th-largest state (only Delaware and Rhode Island are smaller) include 'The Provisions State', 'The Land of Steady Habits', 'The Blue Laws State', 'The Brownstone State' and 'The Freestone State'.
Of the alternatives, Rhode Island is 'The Ocean State', Pennsylvania is the 'Keystone State' or 'Quaker State' and New Hampshire is 'The Granite State' or 'White Mountain State'.
