Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which ancient esoteric organisation has often been accused of plotting to bring about a new world order?

Answer: Freemasonry

The poor old freemasons have been accused of this many times over the centuries since they first began. That was thought to be in the late 16th century...or was it? Perhaps they began much earlier? The main accusations about them are that they are in league with the horned one, and are secretly sabotaging all religions and governments in order to take over the world. Once they do this, they allegedly plan to run it along Masonic guidelines. Looks like we'll all be riding billygoats to work, folks.
2. The Order of the Illuminati, which had been broken up and suppressed in 1785, was thought to have reformed and become the driving force behind which great European Revolution of the late 18th century?

Answer: French Revolution

The Illuminati was an order filled with freethinkers, secularists and republicans. It sprang from the organisations of German masons. Its main focus was rationalism, based on intellect and knowledge, rather than spirit or emotion. In this it clashed head-on with the monarchy, ruling classes and the church. It was accused of being subversive, revolutionary, working to overthrow the old system of thought and societal rule - and replacing these with a one world government instead. The oppressive methods used to break up the Illuminati, rather than the Illuminati itself, are said to have actually provoked the wave of revolutions throughout Europe that this century witnessed. And of course the Jewish people were eventually blamed for it all. Every time there's any sort of world wide trouble, this nation of people always seem to end up the scapegoats. It's most peculiar. (The line of the Jewish Conspiracy Theories is over to your left, ladies and gentlemen. Keep the queue moving along in an orderly fashion please.)

The popular conspiracy theory at the beginning of the 20th century in this regard is that the Jewish peoples were supporting both capitalists and communists so that they could divide and conquer the world. That's a two-way bet with a vengeance. They were believed to be assisted in this by various American driven secret organisations. Ho hum.
3. The American Council on Foreign Relations has been described as one of the USA's most powerful think tanks on foreign policy. Its influence is said to reach to the very top levels of administration. It's also accused, of course, of planning to take over the world. Where are its headquarters located?

Answer: New York

The mission statement for this organisation is to provide a resource for government leaders, members of the press and big business to help them understand the foreign policies of the world's countries and any "significant issues shaping today's international agenda". Its think tank makes "recommendations to the presidential administration...on foreign policy issues" and in this regard, it exerts a very powerful influence indeed. Because of this it has often been accused of trying to establish that famous, or infamous, New World Order and One World Government.

Just to set your minds at ease, however, in case you haven't had your morning coffee, one of its aims "seeks to help prevent, defuse, or resolve deadly conflicts around the world and to expand the body of knowledge on conflict prevention". It does this by "creating a forum in which representatives of governments, international organisations, nongovernmental organisations (etc) can gather to develop operational and timely strategies for promoting peace in specific conflict situations". But wait! Is all that just a ploy to divert suspicion away from them?

4. Covertly planning to take over the world of course, the Skull and Bones Secret Society at Yale University in America is said to be the controlling force behind which United States intelligence agency?

Answer: CIA

The Skull and Bones is also said to be linked to the secret organisation Illuminati and its plans for a new world order. Over time, its membership has included many of America's top political and military figures. For example, membership has included at least two American Presidents, a senator, a Supreme Court Justice, the chief of the CIA's counterintelligence, a US Secretary of War, and a US Secretary of Defense. These were all powerful men, all significant figures on the world stage. There are no Popes on this list because Catholics weren't allowed in for many years. The society also fought tooth and nail for years to keep women out. This even went to a court challenge, instigated by one of its most conservative members, William Buckley Junior, a rather frightening man who had his finger in all kinds of American political pies and movements for many years. The ladies finally got their dainty political feet in the door in 1992.

The Skull and Bones society owns an island on the "St Lawrence river in upstate New York". This features many buildings they have constructed over time, but now said to be falling in ruins. We know better though, don't we? They can't fool us. We have it on good authority from the local bakery that underneath those ruins are secret passages and rooms, where white supremacist (still mostly protestant) members meet to plan the takeover of the world. Where those who have resisted their nefarious schemes are held prisoner and indoctrinated. And where anti-nuclear bunkers - and a Kentucky Fried Children store - have been installed for the use of members while they are supervising the next world war that will usher in the New World Order.

5. Is it true that, in 1877, the English born South African business magnate and politician Cecil Rhodes instigated a secret society with aims that included the re-annexing of the United States of America?

Answer: Yes

I think that's most awfully funny! It's hard to believe such a top leader in the world could come up with such a preposterous idea. To excuse this just a little, however, he was quite young at the time, only in his twenties. Cecil Rhodes (1853-1902) was the founder of the giant diamond company de Beers. At one stage this company controlled a staggering 90% of the world's supplies of same. In 2012, it still controlled 40% of the world's market in diamonds. Rhodes was the epitome of the complete British imperialist, springing from an era when Britain was at the pinnacle of its imperialistic powers. He was a product of his times, so it's perhaps a little unfair to laugh at this notion today. Still, it really is worth a chuckle - re-annexing the United States.

His secret society was to be known as "The Society of the Elect". The reason behind Rhodes' ideals was to combine a number of the leading countries in the world "to bring about a hyperpower and lasting world peace". Well, the second part of that is indeed a worthy idea at least. The following quote from him sums it all up. His society's purpose would be for:

"...the extension of British rule throughout the world, the perfecting of a system of emigration from the United Kingdom, and of colonisation by British subjects of all lands where the means of livelihood are attainable by energy, labour and enterprise, and especially the occupation by British settlers of the entire Continent of Africa, the Holy Land, the Valley of the Euphrates, the islands of Cyprus and Candia, the whole of South America, the islands of the Pacific not heretofore possessed by Great Britain, the whole of the Malay Archipelago, the seaboard of China and Japan, the ultimate recovery of the United States of America as an integral part of the British Empire, the inauguration of a system of Colonial representation in the Imperial Parliament which may tend to weld together the disjointed members of the Empire and, finally, the foundation of so great a power as to render wars impossible, and promote the best interests of humanity".

But why am I laughing? I just remembered that Australia was settled by the British, and we're still a part of the Commonwealth of Nations. One presumes we go under the category of one of the islands in the Pacific. How insulting. Ask yourself, though, did this society ever get under way, has it folded up and re-emerged under another heading, and is it still in existence today? Order your bunkers as soon as possible, ladies and gentlemen!

6. The Round Table Movement, which was founded in 1909, is said to be plotting to "impose an oligarchic new world order" through which means?

Answer: Global financial system

Well, money speaks many languages, doesn't it? The interesting thing about all these movements with a one world government agenda, is that they all appear to be linked to one another. When one finds itself under the microscope of the world's attention, it seems to fold up and fade away into the night. Yet, does it? The answer appears to be no, and that they reappear instead under another name elsewhere - but with the same ultimate agenda. That secret society said to be formed by Cecil Rhodes was one in question. Doubts still exist as to whether or not it existed. Coincidentally though, many people associated with Rhodes subsequently set up the organisation known as The Round Table Movement.

Established in 1909, it had, by 1915, spread to seven of the world's major countries, all of whom had links to Britain and to Cecil Rhodes. It was also connected to the United States. Their organisational structure is based on that of the Jesuits, with a General at its head, a Junta of Three as its executive, and with a Circle of Initiatives and an Association of Helpers as its willing soldiers. It consisted originally of a membership of some of the world's most powerful figures, and still exists into the 21st century, but with a less powerful membership. These have moved on elsewhere - to societies such as the Royal Institute of International Affairs and the Council on Foreign Relations. There are even cross links to Rhodes Scholarship graduates, all of which have gone on to take up some of the most powerful positions in the world. They are leading businessmen, international lawyers and judges, incredibly powerful international financiers and bankers, scientists, politicians and, wait for it - top military personnel. From this also sprang the Commonwealth of Nations and the Trilateral Commission. They all can be traced back, linked and cross-linked to other organisations, all of whom have the ultimate agenda of a one world government and a new world order. Gulp! Even the great Homer Simpson fell before them.

7. The Royal Institute of International Affairs was founded in 1919/20. Who were they planning to bamboozle in their schemes in the setting up of the New World Order?

Answer: The Protestant Churches

This organisation has links going back to Cecil Rhodes and the Round Table Movement. Its main focus is to "analyse and promote the understanding of international issues". Accordingly, their top think tank members study and advise on international issues. Conservative in nature, the areas on which it has a particular focus include energy, economics and security. More than anything else, however, it particularly concentrates on international security and law, and its influence in this regard is extremely powerful. Its American counterpart is the Council on Foreign relations.

Chatham House, its headquarters, was donated to the organisation in 1923. By 2004, such was the connection of the organisation's work with this building, that it became officially rebranded as Chatham House. However, its legal name is still that of The Royal Institute of International Affairs. Founded in 1919/20, its first chairman was Robert Cecil, a UK politician and diplomat. Its first secretary on the other hand was Lionel Curtis (1872-1955). An extremely powerful man, he really pushed for the establishment of a Federal world government. It was Curtis, more than the organisation itself, who again proposed the idea of re-annexing the United States. He published these views, along with the suggestion that the churches should back this proposition, in his 1938 work "The Commonwealth of God". To elicit their support, he argued that this work was the will "of the Christian God". Naughty! If perhaps you're thinking that the Royal Institution of International Affairs was and is nothing more than a paper tiger, then think again. Its influence was powerful enough to see the establishment of the Commonwealth of Nations in 1949. Tomorrow the world?

It asserts that members who attend their *seminars* may discuss these freely with outsiders. However, most of their internal *meetings* are most definitely kept very confidential. Some of the more recent events on which it has heavily influenced policy include the following: combatting terrorism (2005), Iran and the regional crises in the Middle East (2006), future foreign policy (2006), and security and defence of the United Kingdom (2010). It is a very, very powerful organisation indeed. Both this organisation and the American Council on Foreign Relations are said to be fronts for the shadowy Round Table Organisation.

8. The Trilateral Commission is said to be a front runner in the push for a New World Order. Of which particularly foul deed in America have they been accused?

Answer: Orchestrating the September 11 attacks

The Trilateral Commission is an organisation comprising Europe, Japan and the United States. It was established by David Rockefeller (born 1915) and seeks to foster strong ties between these three world areas. Rockefeller, an expert in the field of economics, worked as assistant regional director in the then office of the United States Office of Defence. From there he became involved in military intelligence during the Second World War. From 1946 onwards he worked in establishing one of the most powerful banking businesses in the world. During the 1960s he set up the International Advisory Committee (IAC) which consisted of twenty-eight of the world's most powerful businessmen from nineteen different nations. His banking business, in the meantime, had grown "into a global network of correspondent banks, estimated to number about 50,000".

He is also said to have had close connection to the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Council, the Council on Foreign Relations, "with every United States President since Eisenhower", and a decades long working relationship and friendship with Henry Kissinger. In 1973, he was the motivating force in forming the Trilateral Commission. Its aims are to strengthen political and economic ties across the world. President Carter's National Security Advisor became its first director. Twenty-five members of this Commission were placed in prominent positions in the Carter administration. Succeeding Presidents also drew heavily from its ranks, and several have themselves been members of this organisation.

Many "notable conspiracy theorists believe the organisation to be a central plotter of a world government" which is to be ruled by a "secret elite". The Commission has been accused of having "orchestrated the attacks of September 11th in order to initiate a new world order", of "encroaching on national sovereignty", and of plotting a "coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centres of power (political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical)" into one world power. In Rockefeller's "Memoirs" (2002) he wrote that he has "been accused of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it". There you have it - straight from the Rocker-horse's mouth himself.

9. Technology is one of the villains associated with the New World Order. The secret elite is planning to take over by using this in which way?

Answer: Human enhancement technologies

The agenda is to use "nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology and cognitive science" to create a "posthuman ruling caste". Toss in some genetic engineering as well, and the new humanoid will be born. The theory is that this class of enhanced humans will then accelerate technology to such a degree that your ordinary old man in the street will be hopelessly left behind and unable to comprehend what is happening. This is to ultimately mean the extinction of the entire human race. The New World Order will finally be a reality.

"We are the Borg. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile".

10. Oh dear. The ultimate in conspiracy theories is that of aliens living and working among us. These are secretly planning to take over the world of course. They consist of the Greys from other planets or parallel dimensions, and the Reptilians - from where?

Answer: The inside of our earth which is really hollow

It is believed that these aliens have been with us for centuries. They have been manipulating humans in various ways over this time, in order to make it easier for them to take control. They have assumed "command positions in government, corporate and religious institutions, and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the world". It doesn't exactly detail which form these manipulations take, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the spread of Vegemite throughout the world is one of these diabolical plots. Mickey Mouse is also high on the list of suspects.
