1. The Panavia Tornado was a consortium between which three countries?

Answer: Great Britain, Italy and Germany

The Tornado was first flown on 27th October 1979. It replaced the Lighting and Phantoms that were in service with the RAF at that time.
2. On what date did the prototype of the Dassault-Breguet Mirage III fly?

Answer: 17th November 1956

The first production model flew in 1960. Also the large main wheels were sized for rough-field operations, but it needed a field length of over 6,000ft.
3. The Dassault-Breguet Mirage 2000B has how many seats?

Answer: Two

The 2000B was in production in 1983, after the successful trails of the first production model December 1982. But the prototype of the Mirage 2000 flew 4 years earlier on 10th March 1978.
4. What is the NATO code name for the MIG 21 jet fighter?

Answer: Fishbed

The MIG 21 Fishbed has been built in 15 major versions. Some of which are: Fishbed "D" - all weather fighter, "F" - an improved version of the D, "H" - a tactical reconnaissance version and the "U" a 2 seat tandem trainer.

Answer: Israel

When the French cut off military supplies to Israel in 1967, Israel set about building its own aircraft. The prototype IAI Kfir (Lion Cub) flew in 1973 and was revealed to the public in 1975.
