Answer: Golden State Freeway

North of this section, between SR-14 and SR-99, the legal name of I-5 is still unofficial, but many view it as being the Golden State Freeway still.

Answer: San Diego Freeway

This freeway is known to be one of the most congested freeways in the U.S.
3. SR-60 - East limit: SR-91 in Riverside; West limit: the western terminus at the East Los Angeles Interchange.

Answer: Pomona Freeway

This route, along with I-10 and I-210 (all of which run relatively parallel to each other), is popular for those who live in the Inland Empire and work in Los Angeles.
4. I-710 - North limit: I-5 near the City of Commerce and East Los Angeles; South limit: SR-1 (Pacific Coast Highway).

Answer: Long Beach Freeway

Until 1954, this route was known as the Los Angeles River Freeway. It is used mostly for truckers entering and leaving the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles.
5. SR-91 - East limit: I-5 in the city of Fullerton; West limit: I-710 in the city of Long Beach.

Answer: Artesia Freeway

This freeway is used mostly for those who live and/or work in southeastern Los Angeles County, but also as a transit route for those entering and exiting Los Angeles or Long Beach.
6. SR-110 - North limit: Glenarm Street in Pasadena; South limit: Junction of I-110, SR-110, and I-10 near downtown Los Angeles.

Answer: Pasadena Freeway

Most of this section, along with being named the Pasadena Freeway, is also called the Historic Arroyo Seco Parkway and is listed as a National Scenic Byway.
7. I-105 - East limit: I-605 near the cities of Norwalk and Bellflower; West limit: SR-1 (Sepulveda Blvd) on the southern edge of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) near the city of El Segundo.

Answer: Glenn Anderson Freeway

The freeway is commonly referred to as Century Freeway, which is was named between 1993 and 1994, but CalTrans officially renamed it in 1994 in honor of Congressman Anderson who had advocated the freeway's construction.
8. SR-118 - East limit: I-210 near San Fernando; West limit: SR-23 in Moorpark (Ventura County).

Answer: Ronald Reagan Freeway

Moorpark Freeway does not exist while Jacob Dekema Freeway (I-805) and Ted Williams Freeway (SR-56) are both located in San Diego County.
9. SR-71 - North limit: I-10 in the city of Pomona; South limit: Riverside County line south of SR-83.

Answer: Chino Valley Freeway

This route is one of the newest freeways in the Los Angeles area. It is not widely used because it is not as widely known, but is quick and non-congested highway for those traveling to and from Corona and south Riverside County.
10. SR-47 - East limit: Split of SR-103 and SR-47 at Ocean Blvd in the city of Long Beach near Terminal Island and the former US Naval Station Long Beach; West limit: I-110 near San Pedro.

Answer: Seaside Freeway

This section goes directly through the Port of Los Angeles and the west end of the Port of Long Beach, serving many cargo trucks.
