Answer: Bugsy Siegel

In 1945 Bugsy Siegel came to Las Vegas and financed and developed some of the original casinos, making him a driving force behind the development of Las Vegas. The Flamingo Hotel was one of the first that he financed for the original owner, William R Wilkerson. Siegel would bring alcohol, entertainers and food and gambling to the hotel in the hopes of attracting people with lots of money to spend there.

In true mob style of course, Wilkerson was coerced to sell all his stakes in the Flamingo to Siegel under the threat of death.
2. Which is the main international airport for Las Vegas? As soon as you step off the plane or while you're waiting to go home, you can continue to gamble (if you have any money left!).

Answer: Harry Reid

Harry Reid (formerly McCarran) International Airport is located about five miles outside of downtown Las Vegas and is the main international airport for vacationers there as well as the main airport for military use. This is one of only two airports in Nevada that allow gambling, the other is in Reno, Nevada. There are slots only and they don't pay out a ton of winnings!

Gordon Ramsay, the foul-mouthed British chef and television personality, has opened several restaurants in Las Vegas, including a Steak restaurant, a Fish and Chips restaurant and the Burger restaurant at Planet Hollywood. It's described as offering "high end burgers" and some of the menu options include the Hell's Kitchen burger with asadero cheese and avocado and the Mediterranean burger which is made from a lamb patty with a tandoori baste and feta cheese. Delicious and expensive.

This sculpture by artist Marco Cochrane was unveiled in Las Vegas in 2016. It was inspired by Burning Man and spent time at Black Rock Desert in Nevada and at Treasure Island in San Francisco before being refurbished and moving to Las Vegas. This forty-foot high dancing woman weighs 7500 pounds.
5. There is a statue of a dog in New York's Central Park immortalizing a heroic sled dog. What's the name of this good boy?

Answer: Balto

Central Park covers more than 800 acres and is located in Manhattan. There are so many attractions at Central Park including a zoo, theatre and carousel. Tourists flock to see the fountain where the opening to the TV show "Friends" was filmed or the bridge that is featured in the movie "Elf." One of the other attractions is the statue of Balto, the husky hero who has stood in the park since the 1920s. Balto was one of the dogs that was used to travel through an awful blizzard and over 600 miles to get medicine for people suffering from diphtheria in Alaska in 1925.

Answer: James Hoban

Irish-born architect James Hoban designed the White House and since it's completion in 1800 every American President has resided there. The first President to live there was John Adams and it was called the Executive Mansion until 1901 when Teddy Roosevelt decided to change the name.

There are twenty-eight fireplaces and more than 130 rooms and the White House Kitchen is equipped to serve dinner to 140 guests!

The Marine Corps War Memorial (also called the Iwo Jima Memorial) is located in Arlington Ridge Park, close to Arlington National Cemetery. The memorial recreates a photograph of six marines who are raising a flag in Iwo Jima in World War II. The six marines in the photograph and depicted in the memorial are Corporal Harlon H. Block, Corporal Harold P. Keller, Private First Class Franklin R. Sousley, Sergeant Michael Strank, Private First Class Harold H. Schultz and Private First Class Ira H. Hayes, a Pima of the Gila River Indian Reservation.

The event itself was recorded by Marine Sergeant Bill Genaust on February 23, 1945. He was killed on March 4, 1945 when he entered a cave on Iwo Jima, his remains have never been found.

The Gatekeeper is a 67 mph, 170 foot high rollercoaster that twists through two keyholes at the entrance to the Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. Thrill-seekers can find rollercoasters galore, a waterpark, a zoo, entertainment and hotels so you don't have to travel too far to get your thrills! Cedar Point covers more than 360 acres and is the second oldest amusement park in America, opening in 1870.

Answer: Cleveland

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a museum and hall of fame dedicated to music, located in downtown Cleveland. Here you will see exhibits of the musicians that have been inducted into the hall of fame, watch recorded performances and even pick up an instrument and jam with the house band at the Garage stage if that's of interest.

The ground-breaking ceremony took place in 1993 and included musicians such as Billy Joel, Pete Townshend and Chuck Berry and the building opened in 1995 with a ribbon cutting ceremony that included Yoko Ono and Little Richard.

The Ramones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 by Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam for their contribution to rock music and the incredible influence they had. They formed in New York City in 1974 and are known as the first true punk band (yes even before the Sex Pistols who formed in the UK in 1975). They were influenced by the Beach Boys, the Kinks, the Who and the Beatles and in turn have influenced everyone from Green Day to Social Distortion to Dead Kennedys. Tré Cool, drummer for Green Day, named is daughter Ramona.
