Answer: United Kingdom

The UK did not like the idea of giving up some of its sovereignty to the EU.
2. What is the symbol for the euro?

Answer: capital 'E' (rounded) with 2 strokes through the middle

I'm guessing the 'e' is for 'Europe'.
3. What country was the first to produce euro coins?

Answer: France

This means that the exchange rate between DM and Euros will not change. And for those wondering about what a Euro is worth, in the summer of 2002 one Euro was worth about 99.97 cents of US currency.

Answer: UK and Sweden

Sweden didn't want to have to hold their money constant to the Euro's value.
