The Michigan flag was adopted on August 1, 1911. It also bears the state motto: "If you seek a pleasant peninsula look about you."

Answer: Wyoming

The Wyoming flag was adopted on January 31, 1917. The red symbolizes the Native Americans and the blood of the pioneers, the white stands for purity, while the blue stands for the color of the sky and the distant mountains.
