Subject: Editor's Choice Nominations

Posted by: Terry
Date: Jul 09 09

Have you stumbled upon a quiz that was SO GOOD that you were amazed it wasn't an Editor's Choice?

Feel free to post suggestions of quizzes that you believe are uniquely creative, imaginative, interesting, fantastic and deserving of Editor's Choice designation.

There is NO guarantee that ANY of the quizzes posted here will receive such a designation, but we will periodically check some of these nominations out to make sure that nothing truly special slipped through the cracks.

Note that an Editor's Choice is exceptionally difficult to earn one of these designations, and that we have many thousands of well crafted, well researched quizzes that will never earn this designation.

Please post only those very few quizzes that are truly exceptional.

To try to reduce conflicts of interest and a massive list of quizzes from friends, please do NOT post quizzes from team members or people on your friends list.

Everything about this quiz shouts "THUMB!" to me. Brilliant photos and so informative. My brain would have frozen if that title had landed in my inbox. I am so impressed.

I think there have been many new quizzes that were exceptional...I truly enjoyed this quiz by daver852...it was full of scientific information and done in a manner which kept the player interested and caused them to look around their homes and wonder just really what was living with them.

This is a fantastic quiz here from shvdotr with a geographic common theme of place names ending in 'bury'. These types of quizzes are challenging to keep interesting and at a good difficultly level but the author expertly did both.

It's only taken me six years to find this thread, glad I have as I've had a favourite quiz for ages, from one of the best writers here in my opinion.

The latest offering by adam36, http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/World/Veblen-Good-or-Veblen-Bad-374927.html, is one of the best I have seen lately, making some very advanced and complex concepts very accessible and fun to learn about.

I second Wesley's recommendation!

I was coming here to nominate it and found I could only say "Me too!"

I just played an exceptional children's quiz:

"In the Blood" by 1nn1 was very well written and managed to get the information across without being too difficult or too easy.

Thanks dcpddc478, you are very kind. The challenge in that quiz for me was to write about my job as a medical scientist in such a way that complex medical information was accessible to 13-15year olds

It's a very interesting quiz about the nuances of the Spanish language. This quiz has my recommendation for an Editor's Choice.
