This one has been bugging. I had previously read that ‘Hey Jude’ was written by Paul McCartney. Whilst it was originally titled ‘Hey Jules’ for John’s son, Julian, Jude is also a female name so I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t on the list of Paul McCartney songs. I have now discovered that whilst the songs may have been written individually by either Lennon or McCartney, they were still credited as Lennon/McCartney compositions.
With this in mind have sought out the songs Written by Paul (that John has also been credited with) and decided they should also be seen here. These are:
