1. Godric Gryffindor

The character of Dolores Umbridge first made her appearance in "Order of Phoenix". She initially taught Defence Against the Dark Arts, and later became Hogwart's Headmistress. The word "dolores" is the plural form of "dolor", which means pain in Latin.
7. Minerva McGonagall

Minerva McGonagall taught Transfiguration at Hogwarts and served as the Head of Gryffindor House. She played a pivotal role in defending Hogwarts castle during the Battle of Hogwarts. McGonagall also served as the acting Headmistress during Dumbledore's suspension in "Chamber of Secrets" and in "Half-Blood Prince" after Dumbledore's death. Following Snape's demise, she assumed the role of Headmistress of Hogwarts.
