Onigiri are Japanese rice balls wrapped in nori (seaweed) and can also be known as omusubi or nigirimeshi. Even though this misconception is common, onigiri are not a type of sushi. 3. Foccacia
Focaccia is a type of Italian flat bread, and it can be round, rectangular, or square. It is often flavored with garlic, olives, tomatoes, and/or rosemary, or simply plain. Some consider focaccia to be a variant of pizza, due to its crust-like taste and appearance.
4. Guacamole
Guacamole is a dip made out of mushed avocados. Its roots are in Mexico, but it has since been made a staple of international cuisine. Some optional side ingredients added to guacamole are lime juice, lemon juice, jalapenos, cilantro, and/or onions.
(Personally, I don't like avocados or guacamole.)
5. Biryani
Biryani is one of the most popular dishes of Pakistani and Sindhi cuisine. It is actually quite simple, with the main ingredients being rice; potatoes; some kind of meat, poultry, or seafood; and a variety of spices. Biryani is traditionally eaten with yogurt.
