The sound waves can also be controlled by the user's Chakra and used to attack the opponent's inner ear, which can cause physical and mental injures.

He graduated from the Ninja Academy and became a Genin (Low Ninja) at age of ten. During his time as a Genin, he was in the same team with Might Guy and Genma Shiranui. Later on, at age of seventeen, he was promoted to a Chūnin (Middle Ninja).
