Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again Quiz

Larry Daley was the night guard of the New York City Museum of Natural History in the first three films in the series. In "Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again" (2022), Larry Daley works at the Tokyo Museum and he is amazed at how high tech the bathrooms are and that there are robots that give tours. Larry wants to find a replacement for his night guard position in New York but no one seems to keep the position for long.

At nighttime the exhibits of people and animals on display at the museum come to life. The night guards prior to Larry's son run away in horror shortly after the exhibits come to life once the sun sets. Both Theodore Roosevelt and Sacagawea recommend to Larry that his son Nick be the night guard since he knows what happens at night with the exhibits and he is like Larry but younger and healthier.

Answer: Mia

Mia is portrayed as a highly achieving student that has been friends with Nick for some time. They are talking by their lockers and Nick asks Mia what she is doing for the summer. She tells him that she doesn't have any plans and he starts to lead in asking her if she wants to go on a date but he abruptly ends the conversation and tells her to have a good summer. Luckily by the end of the film he has gained the courage to ask her out.

Nick Daley has an ear for music and he proudly tells people that he can identify any note in any song. He is also adept at mixing different sounds so he auditions to be a deejay for the jazz band. The audition with Ms. Montefusco is going well until someone else walks in and Nick gets nervous, makes an error and doesn't complete the audition.

Answer: Fruit texts

Nick's mom, Erica Daley, is voiced by Gillian Jacobs. She sends Nick with a piece of fruit to school each day and then several hours later she will make a goofy joke asking him if he ate it. He shows Mia some of these 'fruit texts' where his mom messaged "apple-lutely" and "orange you going to tell me how your day is going".

Nick's father, Larry, tells Nick to lock the loading dock and then the basement when he comes back into the main part of the museum. Since he was a child, Nick has been afraid of the basement and the loading dock because of the scary items located down there. Once again Nick gets scared when he goes down to the loading dock and he lies about having locked it. Of course that decision will have consequences.

Answer: Pharaoh of Egypt

Kahmunrah and his brother Ahkmenrah are both fictional characters in the "Night at the Museum" movie series. Kahmunrah was not granted the position of Pharaoh of Egypt because his father thought he was too impulsive. In "Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again", Kahmunrah seeks to awaken an army of the dead.

Answer: Scorpion

Kahmunrah and the Egyptian god Seth awaken a massive scorpion that tries to sting Nick and the museum exhibits. Luckily, Joan of Arc is able to slice the scorpion from below weakening it. Dexter the capuchin monkey then jumps on the scorpion's back and dodges its stinger effectively making the scorpion sting itself.

Answer: Glasses case

In the film Theodore Roosevelt tells Nick that the glasses case saved his life and he shows Nick the bullet hole on it. Theodore Roosevelt also jokes that the case can be used to hold breath mints. Nick grudgingly accepts the case as a gift and luckily the case stops Kahmunrah's sword from killing him.

Another gift Nick received were beads and a map of the museum from Sacagawea which he would use as a portal to get back to the museum later in the film.

Answer: Joshua Bassett

Joshua Bassett was born in California in 2000 and he gained prominence for his role as Ricky Bowen on "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" which premiered in 2019. His first major film role was in 2022 when he starred as Anthony Foster, the older brother of the title character, in the film "Better Nate Than Ever". Bassett did an excellent job voicing Nick Daley in "Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again" as he showcased his abilities as a singer and to do dramatic and comedic scenes.
