Mick was born on May 26, 1946 in Hull, aka Kingston on Hull, which is in Yorkshire in England. Mick moved to London to play guitar for David Bowie in what was to become "Ziggy Stardust".

Worcestershire (besides being a sauce) is a county in the West Midlands of England. Liverpool is where the Beatles are from.

He was marking out lines of rugby field, one of his duties as a gardener for Hull. Many of the girls at the school where he worked as a gardener had trouble keeping their eyes on the book when a shirtless Mick was toiling in the nearby field. After his death, a sculpture of a guitar was erected in those gardens in Mick Ronson's honor.
