The writer of the song, Geoff Stephens, put together some session musicians with the former lead singer of the British group The Ivy League, John Carter. Little Jimmy Osmond is James Arthur Osmond, sometime member of the family band The Osmonds. It is hard to realize that he will be 48 years old in 2011 with four children. I hope he is thoroughly ashamed of himself for that song and has nightmares about it.
