"Hey Jude" reached the number one position in September, 1968, and stayed on top for nine weeks. In February, 1964, "I Want To Hold Your Hand" made it to number one for seven weeks. "She Loves You" succeeded it and stayed on top for two weeks. "Can't Buy Me Love" came up next and was number one for five weeks.

This gave The Beatles a consecutive fourteen weeks at number one, though with three hit singles.
