The original name was the McAlpine stadium, but a ten-year sponsoship deal ended in 2004.

Answer: Leeds Road

Situated just off Leeds Road, Huddersfield, where the old pitch used is to be, is a B&Q warehouse. They played there from 1908 to 1994.
3. How many times were Huddersfield Town crowned champions of the old First Division (pre-1992)?

Answer: Three

Three times on the trot: 1923-24, 1924-25, and 1925-26. The first team in England to do so. A feat that has only been matched by Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United (before and after 1992). In 1992, the old First Division left the Football League and formed the FA Premier League.
4. In which of these years did Huddersfield Town win the FA Cup?

Answer: 1922

They have been in the final 5 times, but lost the 1920, 1928, 1930, and 1938 finals. 1922 was the last FA Cup final played at Stamford Bridge.

Answer: Herbert Chapman

Herbert Chapman sent Town on their way with championships in 1923-24 and 1924-25, but quit the job to take over at Arsenal. Cecil Potter was manager when Town won their third title. Herbert Chapman then won three title on the trot at Arsenal: 1930-31, 1931-32 and 1932-33.
