The episode opened up with Locke and Jack going to the guns room in the hatch to look at the amount of ammunition and weapons they got to use against The Others. Jack and Locke were pleased to see that all the weapons which were originally there still were and none had been taken. Jack saw many statues of the Virgin Mary and Locke stated how he had to hide them from Charlie since there was heroin in each statue.

Charlie's first scene saw him right by the beach setting up a new tent and Sawyer saw him. He started to taunt Charlie regarding how he was taking on a woman's role of setting up his "home." Sawyer continued to taunt Charlie's previous moments of where he took Claire's baby, Aaron, and frightened her. Charlie informed Sawyer he ought to be more worried about Jack ransacking his tent since Jack was at Sawyer's tent looking through it.

This episode focused on Sawyer's back story and that was why he appeared in a lot of flashbacks. In the first flashback, Sawyer was in bed with a girlfriend and he turned around to look at his clock. He immediately got up from his bed since he had to go to a meeting. Sawyer opened up his briefcase and his girlfriend noticed a bunch of cash in there, asking Sawyer if he was conning her. Sawyer assured her that was not the case.

As the opening credits rolled, we saw Kate appear when she went up to Sawyer as he was cleaning up his tent. She commented how it looked really nice and he thanked her but he also had to clean it up a little bit since it was the "maid's day off." Sawyer informed Kate how Jack decided to take his painkillers from him so he would not be sending him a Christmas card.

In Sayid's first scene, he was smashing some coconuts so he could use their shell and Hurley went up to talk to him. Sayid appeared annoyed with Hurley interrupting him so he asked him what he wanted. Hurley stated how he just wanted to try and cheer up Sayid since he was still saddened over Shannon's death but Sayid made it clear he didn't need Hurley to try and make him happy.

Answer: Ana Lucia Cortez

Jack and Ana Lucia were going on a little walk in the jungle and Ana spoke to him about the gun room in the hatch. At one point, she actually asked Jack for the combo to get into the room and Jack thought she was serious. Ana assured him how she was just kidding and she then proceeded to comment on how she liked that the Oceanic 815 survivors weren't scared of other forces on the island.

Sun was by herself in the jungle and then it began to rain, which pleased her. However, an unknown person came up from behind Sun, wrapped a bag around her head, and dragged her out into the jungle to attack her. Sawyer and Kate heard Sun screaming and, when they came upon her, she was unconscious and her attacker had disappeared.

They brought Sun back to the camp and Jack treated her. Jack and Locke assumed her attacker was a member of The Others.

Jack started to treat Sun but she remained unconscious but he assured Jin how she would be okay and to remain optimistic. While Jack went off to tend to other matters, he instructed Jin to watch over Sun and, while Jin watched her, she awoke. When Sun awoke, Jack was notified and he raced back to check on her.

Answer: Kim Dickens

Dickens, born on June 18th, 1965 in Huntsville, Alabama guest starred as Cassidy in this episode of "Lost." Cassidy was Sawyer's girlfriend in the flashbacks and he showed her how to be a good con artist. For the first five seasons of the show, she appeared in four episodes. Dickens also guest starred on the TV shows, "Numb3rs", "Spin City", and "Swift Justice."

Jack went to the gun room in the hatch in one scene and noticed how the guns were all missing. Just prior to Jack going there, Locke had left Sawyer in charge of the gun room but was assured Sawyer would not take them. As Jack and others became frantic as to who could have stolen them, Sawyer shot off a gun and informed them all how he had them in his possession. Sawyer said, if they wanted a gun, they would have to come to him.

When Kate asked Sawyer how he got the guns, he remarked how a magician never revealed his secrets.
