Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is Phoenix Wright known for being undefeated at?

Answer: Playing poker

For 7 years since his disbarment, Phoenix Wright went undefeated in Poker. This was in part thanks to Trucy teaching him about perceiving his opponents, as well as being adept in perception herself and sometimes providing aid. He'd make it a business to allow people to challenge him, although a certain man and quick-fingered dealer would plan to ruin that reputation one fateful day.

Arguably the Gramarye trial would've blemished a "perfect record" in court (if he didn't lose a trial earlier in his career).
2. Which is the heritage attributed to Apollo's unnatural ability to perceive the smallest twitch in a lying witness?

Answer: Gramarye

Zak Gramarye explains to Phoenix that the Gramarye Troupe had an ability of heightened awareness, able to perceive such small details when honing in their senses. However, they can't always enter such a state of focus. The bracelet Apollo inherited from his mother Thalassa Gramarye (aka Lamiroir), tightens to clue him in when to perceive.
3. How many full cases, start to finish, did rookie attorney Athena Cykes lead the defense on?

Answer: Two

This spring chick has only proved herself capable of two trials: Turnabout Academy in Dual Destinies, and Turnabout Storyteller in Spirit of Justice. She did a little in the first case of her debut game, but Phoenix Wright quickly steals the spotlight. Athena's been mostly relegated to being an assistant with a cool gizmo.
4. Described to be the very truth itself, what is the centerpiece of the Kingdom of Khura'in's legal proceedings?

Answer: The Divination Seance

Performed by the princess Rayfa Padma Khura'in, the Divination Seance shows precisely what the victim experienced. While the visions never lie, the insights Rayfa gives tend to be mistaken, and in some cases culprits deliberately construct the victim's last moments to mislead with the Divination Seance.

It's up to Phoenix Wright to contest the insights so that the victim's final moments are rightly understood.
5. Within the town known as Nine-Tails Vale, the demon lord Tenma Taro was responsible for a foul incident centuries ago. It was sealed in the Forbidden Chamber so its evil would not spread into the world. What is the true identity of Tenma Taro?

Answer: A gold bar

It was a gold ingot forged to purchase land from Nine-Tails Vale, which would be named Tenma Town. The ensuing greed brought out by the gold caused much turmoil though, so the locals would promote legends of a bird Yokai named Tenma Taro, who was sealed thanks to a nine tailed fox. "Tenma Taro" would then be sealed in the Forbidden Chamber so that it wouldn't be opened, keeping the great evil sealed within... for a while anyways.
6. After a rough seven or eight years of playing piano at a club, and pleading of his fans, Phoenix Wright returns to court in "Dual Destinies". Shortly after reclaiming his badge, who had the honor of being his first client?

Answer: An orca

Orla Shipley (whom had taken on the name Ora to replace her sister after an incident) was accused of killing the owner of the aquarium, Jack Shipley. Albeit this was a strange circumstance for criminal proceedings, especially coming out of retirement, Sasha Buckler hired Phoenix to represent the orca.
7. Precisely what was Nahyuta's motivation to be so loyal to Queen Ga'ran, as was revealed during his confession?

Answer: Rayfa being born to the rebel leader

"The sins of the father are visited upon his children." This is a line held sacred among the residents of Khura'in, and in particular, the rebel leader Dhurke Sadhmadi was accused of setting arson to Queen Amara's residence in an attempt to assassinate her.

Not only would Nahyuta being the direct son of such a criminal be viewed with disgrace, but Rayfa would be put in possibly a worse spot if her true father were to be exposed.
8. Seven years prior to "Dual Destinies", Metis Cykes was murdered, which prosecutor Simon Blackquill would be charged with. But there was a particular item left behind that would've proved the identity of the real killer, who needed to get his hands on it at any cost. What was this item?

Answer: A moon rock

When the spy, only known as the Phantom, went and killed Metis, young Athena had taken a knife and struck him. His blood landed on a nearby moon rock, which he planned to store in the Hope Capsule and blow up with a bomb, albeit unsuccessful at the time.

After eventually managing to destroy the capsule in a courtroom bombing seven years later, it would be an earring Athena wore that ended up as the decisive evidence, just so happening to have been made from that same moon rock and from a part of it that contained the Phantom's blood from his wounds.
9. Which of the following is NOT a requirement to complete the riddle of the Founder's Orb?

Answer: Devoted prayer to the Holy Mother

Burning the Orb, or just having a small flame close enough, will reveal the face of the Holy Mother. You must also know the actual name of the Holy Mother, which only the Queen of Khura'in has access to. Then with both face and name known, a spirit medium must channel her in order to grant you unimagined power.

While the first line of the clue's poem is "offer thy prayers as fervent as fire", actually praying is not a part of it. Apollo wasn't exactly raised religious in the latter half of his life, but his pocket lighter was fervent enough to complete the first step of the puzzle.
10. In Turnabout Serenade, there was an item smuggled in from Borginia to be sold between the defendant and the culprit. What was this item?

Answer: A coccoon

The rare Borginian Coccoon could be a source of a miracle cure, or a lethal poison. Smuggling it out of the country results in a death sentence in the country, but Machi Tobaye went through with it with the help of Daryan Crescend. However, the offer of much lighter punishment under more local laws would be what allows Tobaye to confess to his crimes and get Daryan convicted of the murder of the Interpol agent investigating this smuggling.
