The free time conversations imply each had an unspoken crush on the other. Sayaka was disappointed Makoto never talked to her because she wanted to talk to him. She thought Makoto simply didn't like her. Makoto, on the other hand, was too intimidated of her celebrity status to speak to her. As a result, nothing ever happened between the two.

If Makoto completes all of Sayaka's free time events, she will give him her favorite undergarments which are pink, inexpensive and easy to move around in.

Answer: Kiyotaka Ishimaru

Kiyotaka Ishimaru, the Ultimate Moral Compass, is an overly obsessive student who studies constantly. As a result, he struggles to make friends because whenever someone does hang out with him, all he wants to do is study. Taka tells Makoto about his grandfather who worked hard through the political ranks and eventually became prime minister. However, his grandfather was plagued by scandals caused by his close advisors. As a result, Taka vows to be perfect to rescue his family name.

If Makoto completes all of Taka's free time events, he will give him his favorite pair of undergarments: traditional white briefs worthy of a prime minister.

Answer: Celestia Ludenberg

Celestia Ludenberg, the Ultimate Gambler, has never placed bet she hasn't won. She quickly wins dangerous, strategic games like Russian Roulette Mahjong. She's even won a shogi tournament despite not knowing how to play the game. She is very interested in testing her talent against Makoto's, the Ultimate Lucky Student.

If Makoto completes all of Celeste's free time events, she will give him her favorite pair of undergarments: black tulle lace worthy of a queen.

Answer: Yasuhiro Hagakare

Yasuhiro Hagakare, the Ultimate Clairvoyant, spends much of his free time events trying to swindle Makoto. Hiro's own skills are somewhat dubious and he claims he is 100% correct a third of the time.

Prior to coming to Hope's Peak Academy, Hiro swindled a powerful mafia boss who put a hit out on him in revenge. This is why Hiro wants Makoto's identity and organs so he doesn't have to pay up or get killed by the hitman.

If Makoto completes all of Hiro's free time events, he will give him his favorite pair of undergarments: an expensive pair of blue bikini briefs for good luck.

Answer: Chihiro Fujisaki

Chihiro Fujisaki, the Ultimate Programmer, tells Makoto he got into programming because his father is a programmer and Chihiro was too weak physically to participate in sports. Many of the conversations with Chihiro focus on his physical weaknesses and timidness such as one where he felt sad for a hungry mosquito who was sucking his blood and refused to kill it out of kindness.

If Makoto completes all of Chihiro's free time events, he will give him his favorite pair of undergarments: large, white bloomers.

Answer: Aoi Asahina

Aoi Asahina, the Ultimate Swimmer, is known for her voracious appetite. During her free time events, she tells Makoto she is going crazy about the limited workout and sporting options available. As a result, she needs eat donuts constantly. Later, she worries she is getting fat and needs to go on a diet which Makoto jokingly says is not in her wide skill set.

If Makoto completes all of Hina's free time events, she will give him her favorite pair of undergarments: a simple white pair that, unfortunately, turn see through when wet so they are not ideal for swimming.

Answer: Genocide Jack

Genocide Jack is the serial-killer alter ego of Toko Fukawa. It is necessary to complete Genocide Jack's free time events in order to reach max friendship with Toko and finish her report card.

Genocide Jack explains her unusual love for Byakuya. She loves him so much, she doesn't even want to kill him and will give up killing for him. This is in contrast to her other "loves" whom she has chased around Japan to kill.

Answer: Hifumi Yamada

Hifumi Yamada, the Ultimate Fanfic Creator, tells Makoto about several pieces of his work. Most notable among them is Demon Angel☆Pretty Pudgy Princess whom Hifumi insists is nothing like the hundreds of similar named heroines out there. Later on in a free time event, Hifumi goes through Diet Coke withdrawals and actually thinks he sees the titular princess.

If Makoto completes all of Hifumi's free time events, he will give him his favorite pair of undergarments: a collectible edition of Robo Justice briefs.

Answer: Kyoko Kirigiri

Kyoko Kirigiri, the Ultimate ??? (later revealed to be the Ultimate Detective), is a private person who never opens herself up to other people. She refuses to let Makoto see what's under her gloves and claims it's been a long time since anyone has seen her hands. During the main game, Makoto learns that Kyoko's hands are severely scarred from an incident that happened during an investigation.

If Makoto completes all of Kyoko's free time events, she will give him her favorite pair of undergarments: black low-rise briefs.

Answer: Junko Enoshima

Technically, Makoto cannot do free time events with Junko. Instead, he does them with Junko's twin sister, Mukuro Ikusaba, the Ultimate Soldier, who pretends to be Junko. "Junko" will tell Makoto how she struggles as the Ultimate Fashionista because all the boys chase her wherever she goes. She also confesses about not wanting to stay on the path her life is on. When Makoto comforts her, she will say she handle it because she once was homeless and scraped by on the streets so she can take care of herself.

If Makoto completes all of "Junko's" free time events, she will give him her favorite pair of undergarments: Non stylish black briefs that are bulletproof perfect for the Ultimate Soldier but not the Ultimate Fashionista.

Answer: Byakuya Togami

Byakuya Togami, the Ultimate Rich Progeny, has a very big ego and opinion of himself. He considers himself superior to everyone else and insults Makoto as an average loser who has no hope of amounting to everything. He constantly insults Makoto and doesn't understand why Makoto isn't happier to be basking in his presence. Toward the end of his free time events, Byakuya offers Makoto the position of his secretary which considers to be a high honor.

If Makoto completes all of Byakuya's free time events, he will give him his favorite pair of undergarments: a high-end pair worn only by the elites.

Answer: Mondo Owada

Mondo Owada, the Ultimate Biker Gang Leader, is known for being a big, tough guy. Many of his free time events with Makoto reveal his softer side such as owning a small Maltese named Chuck. He also worries about his future as he cannot remain a biker gang leader for the rest of his life. He says he wants to be a carpenter because he doesn't want to wear a suit to work.

If Makoto completes all of Mondo's free time events, he will give him his favorite pair of undergarments: tiger-print boxer-briefs.

Answer: Toko Fukawa

Toko, the Ultimate Writing Prodigy, tells Makoto how she became interested in writing romance novels. It all started in kindergarten when she fell for a boy who was ridiculed by the other students for spending time with Toko. It then escalated to junior high when she was asked out on a date by a boy she was interested in only for her to learn the date was a result of a lost bet the boy made. She channeled that disappoint and anger into her career as a romance novelist.

If Makoto completes all of Toko's and Genocide Jack's free time events, she will give him Genocide Jack's favorite pair of undergarments: white with elastic hoops for concealing scissors.

Answer: Leon Kuwata

Leon Kuwata, the Ultimate Baseball Player, confesses that he really hates baseball because of the dust and sweat. However, his teachers and everyone else begged him to play and there is no better player than Leon. He would rather be a punk musician. The only reason why Leon stuck with baseball is because he isn't a good student and can't earn a scholarship any other way. His favorite thing about the sport is his many female fans who are attracted to the star athlete.

If Makoto completes all of Leon's free time events, he will give him his favorite pair of undergarments: a pair of black athletic shorts.

Answer: Sakura Ogami

Sakura Ogami, the Ultimate Martial Artist, fancies herself the strongest person in the world - even stronger than her father who was her master. However, she tells Makoto about an underground fighter named Kenshiro whom few people know about. Kenshiro is stronger than Sakura and always beats her in matches. The two fell in love. However, Kenshiro is now ill and apparently has six months to live.

If Makoto completes all of Sakura's free time events, she will give him her favorite pair of undergarments: a white loincloth.
