4. Visited by Odysseus in Homer's "Odyssey", which Greek identity was the king of Aiolia / Aeolia, a mythical floating island?
From Quiz The Four Winds Strike Again
Answer:
Aiolos / Aeolus
Aiolos / Aeolus was the divine keeper of the winds, as well as being the King of Aiolia / Aeolia. He kept the storm winds locked away on the island, releasing them as commanded by the upper gods.
Boreas, Zephyros, Notos and Euros were Anemoi, gods of the four winds. Each was associated with a season and a particular wind - Boreas (North / winter), Zephyros (West / spring breezes), Notus (South / summer rain storms), Euros (East / autumn).
