You don't generally see much in the way of cranberries being served on the table except during the autumn and winter holidays, especially Thanksgiving. However the juice is around all year long. Benefits include improved blood circulation and relief from urinary tract infection.

The singer born Marvin Aday, now known as Meat Loaf (space required) hit the charts the first time in the late 1970s. With his mega-album "Bat Out of Hell", he had hits of "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" and Paradise By the Dashboard Light". He made a resurgence in 1993 with his album "Bat Out of Hell II", and the Billboard Number One song "I Would Do Anything For Love". He mainly stays in the spotlight with small acting gigs.

Answer: Animal Crackers

Animal crackers have been around since the 19th century, originating in England. They were more commonly called animal biscuits in Britain. Shaped like circus animals, the most popular brand is made by Nabisco.

"Animal Crackers", as far as entertainment is concerned, began as a Broadway show in 1928, and starred all four Marx brothers. It was later developed into a movie of the same title in 1930. It was their third and last stage show, as they focused all their talents on film after the Broadway run was over.

Answer: Raisin

The raisin has no end to its history, it has been around for as long as the grape. Raisins make for a good snack, or as an ingredient in another dish (oatmeal cookies love raisins), but on your buffet, it'll be put at the end of your salad bar next to the croutons.

"Raisin" was the musical adaptation of the play "Raisin In the Sun". It ran for three full years on Broadway, won Best Musical in 1974, and was an early star vehicle for actors Debbie Allen and Joe Morton.

5. There is a prepared Southern side dish you see on the buffet now. It's main ingredient is a fruit (or is it a vegetable? I can never remember), usually red in color. But it is certainly not red here, as the name of the dish indicates. Fried green tomatoes is a favorite in the Southern United States, and it is just what the name indicates: unripe tomatoes, sliced, dipped in cornmeal, and panfried. The movie took its name and plot lines from the Fannie Flagg-authored book, "Fried Green Tomatoes At the Whistle Stop Caf�". Starring Kathy Bates, Mary Stuart Masterson and Jessica Tandy, it was well received by audiences.

The soft rock group Bread had three busy years on the Billboard charts in the early 1970s with the Top 10 hits "If", "Make It With You" and "Baby I'm-a Want You". Sometimes looked at now as an example of what went wrong with rock music, Bread remains to this day a staple on Oldies/Easy Listening stations.

Answer: Chocolate

Chocolate show its origins to come from the Central American areas. Chocolate infiltrates so many of the foods it is too difficult to mention, but I am sure you have your favorites.

The 2000 movie "Chocolat", from the novel of the same name, showed a woman opening a Chocolaterie in France, and she changes the way the village sees themselves. Starring Johnny Depp, Alfred Molina, Juliette Binoche, Carrie-Anne Moss and Judi Dench, the star studded cast brought some huge box office, bringing in six times the movie budget costs.

8. Your next dish is a fruit, and is actually a type of berry, though you wouldn't know it by looking at it. A fruit commonly eaten raw, once you peel it, it also works well in a cream pie, or under three scoops of ice cream. Woody Allen, who created a movie using the pluralized form of this food, would think you "crazy" not to grab one for your meal. What food is it?

Answer: Banana

Bananas have many different varieties, and are grown in tropical regions. The most common banana globally is the Cavendish variety. Its ability to withstand transport and travel time makes it the most commercially viable cultivar. Some countries also fry certain species of banana, they are often referred to as plantains.

In 1971, Woody Allen directed and stared in a movie called "Bananas". With Louise Lasser, it features Woody trying to impress a female social activist by going to the area of a revolution, and in a series of unfortunate events, ends up the leader of the revolutionaries.

9. Now onto the beverage cart, where we find your next food, in this case, drink. Sean Penn would recommend it, he won an Academy Award for playing the title character of a movie who shares its name with the drink in front of you. Grab a glass and pour yourself some. What drink is it?

Answer: Milk

Milk is another food used for this quiz that has no end to its history. All mammals produce some kind of it (though the milk in your glass is LIKELY from a cow). Your milk is most likely "whole", 2%, or nonfat (skim).

The movie "Milk" didn't have much to do with the drink milk at all, as it was a biographical movie of the gay activist Harvey Milk. Played by Sean Penn, it showed Milk as the first openly gay politician to be elected into California public office.
