At the Mos Eisley Spaceport, you could find the Mos Eisley Cantina (also known as the Star Wars Cantina) which was formerly named The Chalmun's Cantina. The tavern was known for its powerful drinks, hot tunes and occasional violence, and you might find Hans Solo there trying to hire a crew. The original Cantina Band could be found in "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope" (1977).

On the "Gilmore Girls" (2000-2007), Lorelai, played by Lauren Graham, and Rory, played by Alexis Bledel, are known to have hung out at Luke's Diner, often exchanging witty dialogue. It is owned by Luke Danes whose "No Cell Phones" policy is strictly enforced (how refreshing!).
