At "Saturday Night's Main Event" on August 2, 2008, Montel Vontavious Porter attacked Jeff Hardy after "The Playa's Boot" and then Edge gave Jeff Hardy a "Spear" to defeat him in their match in the main event of "Saturday Night's Main Event". Two weeks in a row on "Smackdown", Jeff Hardy was taking on Shelton Benjamin and winning the match via disqualification when Montel Vontavious Porter attacked Jeff Hardy.

The one match was a Non Title Match and then the other match was for the WWE United States Championship. At "Summerslam" 2008, Montel Vontavious Porter was scheduled to take on Jeff Hardy in a Singles Match. Montel Vontavious Porter was victorious after Shelton Benjamin came to the ring and distracted Jeff Hardy. Montel Vontavious Porter pinned Jeff Hardy after "The Playa's Boot" right in the temple to knock him out cold and get the victory.

The feud between Mickie James and Beth Phoenix started ever since Mickie James defeated Beth Phoenix to win the WWE Women's Championship a few months ago. The new general manager of "Raw", Mike Adamle, made a match between Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix to take on Kofi Kingston and Mickie James and the winners of the match would have the male superstars being the WWE Intercontinental Champion and the female superstars being the WWE Women's Champion. Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix defeated Kofi Kingston and Mickie James when Beth Phoenix pinned Mickie James after the "Glamazon Bomb". Santino Marella was crowned the new WWE Intercontinental Champion and Beth Phoenix was crowned the new WWE Women's Champion.

A week after "Summerslam" 2008, Santino Marella defended his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston on "Raw". Santino Marella won after Beth Phoenix tripped Kofi Kingston and landed his head onto the knee of Santino Marella for Santino Marella to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Also on "Raw" a week after "Summerslam" 2008, Kelly Kelly defeated Beth Phoenix in a Non Title Match after a "School Girl Roll-up" to score a huge upset over the WWE Women's Champion.

Shawn Michaels and his wife, Rebecca, both decided that he should retire from wrestling, due to his detached retina and his other injuries. Chris Jericho then came to the ring and said that Shawn Michaels shouldn't use his injuries as an excuse to leave the company and should use the truth and say that he is retiring because of Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho then said he should tell his children and his wife that he is retiring because of the damage that Chris Jericho did to Shawn Michaels at "The Great American Bash" 2008 Pay Per View. Shawn Michaels then said that he'll do that, but Chris Jericho should sit down his wife and kids and tell them that Chris Jericho will never be a Shawn Michaels. Chris Jericho then went to punch Shawn Michaels, but Shawn ducked and he hit Shawn's wife, Rebecca, which knocked her out cold.

The next night on "Raw", it was announced that Rebecca has suffered a fractured jaw and that's all that is being released because of the respect of the family's privacy.

A week later on "Raw", it was announced that Shawn Michaels will face Chris Jericho at "Unforgiven" 2008 in a Non Sanctioned Match, which means there are no rules.

Matt Hardy won a Number One Contenders Fatal Four Way Match on "ECW" a few weeks before "Summerslam" 2008, Matt Hardy defeated John Morrison, The Miz, and Finlay in a Fatal Four Way Match to earn the right to face Mark Henry for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship at "Summerslam" 2008.

At "Summerslam" 2008, Matt Hardy won the match via disqualification. Tony Atlas got involved in the match by attacking Matt Hardy after Matt Hardy hit Mark Henry with a "Twist of Fate". Then, Jeff Hardy rushed to the ring and went to the aide of his brother and attacked Mark Henry and Tony Atlas. Mark Henry retained the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, even though he lost, because the title cannot change hands on a disqualification or a count out.

A few weeks before "Summerslam" 2008, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Chris Jericho defeated CM Punk in a Handicap Match and if CM Punk won the match he would not defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against neither John "Bradshaw" Layfield nor Chris Jericho, but if John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Chris Jericho won the match, the superstar who pinned CM Punk would face him for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at "Summerslam" 2008. If the match ended in a no contest when the twenty minutes ran out, the match would be a Triple Threat Match and CM Punk would defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against both John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Chris Jericho. John "Bradshaw" Layfield pinned CM Punk with one second to spare after Chris Jericho attacked John "Bradshaw" Layfield and went outside the ring. John "Bradshaw" Layfield then went to "Summerslam" 2008 to challenge CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

A week before "Summerslam" 2008, it was a Beer Drinking Contest between CM Punk and John "Bradshaw" Layfield and it ended in a no contest when CM Punk said he is a straightedge superstar and doesn't drink alcohol.

He then threw the beer into the face of John "Bradshaw" Layfield. At "Summerslam" 2008, CM Punk defeated John "Bradshaw" Layfield to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after CM Punk pinned John "Bradsahw" Layfield with the "Go to Sleep". The next night on "Raw", the general manager, Mike Adamle, announced that CM Punk would defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena, Kane, Batista, and John "Bradshaw" Layfield in a Championship Scramble Match with a twenty minute time limit. A week after "Summerslam" 2008 on "Raw", Mike Adamle said that John Cena suffered a broken neck and will need surgery. Mike Adamle replaced John Cena in the Championship Scramble Match with Rey Mysterio.

A few days after "The Great American Bash" 2008 Pay Per View on "Smackdown", The Great Khali defeated Jeff Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Umaga, Big Show, and Montel Vontavious Porter in a Six Man Battle Royal and he became the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at "Summerslam" 2008. Two weeks before the "Summerslam" 2008 Pay Per View, The Great Khali lost to Triple H via disqualification in a Broke Glass Indian Arm Wrestling Match when The Great Khali attacked Triple H when he knew he was going to lose to Triple H.

At "Summerslam" 2008, Triple H defeated The Great Khali after a "Pedigree" to retain the WWE Championship. On "Smackdown" a few days after "Summerslam" 2008, it was announced that Triple H will defend his WWE Championship in a Championship Scramble Match at "Unforgiven" 2008.

It was announced that Montel Vontavious Porter, The Brian Kendrick, Jeff Hardy, and Shelton Benjamin would participate in the match because they won their respective matches to qualify into the match at "Unforgiven" 2008. Montel Vontavious Porter defeated Festus via count out to qualify, The Brian Kendrick won a Ten Man Battle Royal to qualify, Jeff Hardy defeated The Great Khali to qualify, and Shelton Benjamin defeated Finlay to qualify.

This match was the first time that Batista and John Cena fought each other in a Singles Match. Two weeks before "Summerslam" 2008 on "Raw", Batista and John Cena defeated Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions. The next week on "Raw", Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes defeated Batista and John Cena to win back the WWE World Tag Team Titles.

At "Summerslam" 2008, Batista defeated John Cena after the "Batista Bomb" two times in a row. The next night on "Raw", it was announced that both Batista and John Cena would be in the Championship Scramble Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

A week after "Summerslam" 2008 on "Raw", it was announced that John Cena broke his neck in his match with Batista at "Summerslam: 2008. Mike Adamle said that John Cena will be out indefinitely and will require surgery. So, Mike Adamle announced that Rey Mysterio will replace John Cena in the Championship Scramble Match.

Answer: Hell in a Cell Match

This rivalry started at "Wrestlemania 24" when Undertaker defeated Edge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and increasing his undefeated streak at "Wrestlemania". Edge ended the rivalry at "One Night Stand" 2008 when he won the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match to banish the Undertaker from the entire "WWE". Vickie Guerrero announced a few weeks before "Summerslam" 2008 that she un-banished Undertaker from the "WWE" and that it'll be Edge vs. Undertaker at "Summerslam" 2008 in a Hell in a Cell Match.

At "Summerslam" 2008, Undertaker defeated Edge in the Hell in a Cell Match after a "Tombstone Piledriver Pin". After the match, Undertaker took Edge up the ladder that was set up in the ring and gave Edge a "Chokeslam" off the top of the ladder and through the ring canvas.

Then, Undertaker set the hole Edge went through in the ring on fire and the show went off the air as Undertaker posed while Edge is burning with the fire. A few nights after "Summerslam" 2008 on "Smackdown", Vickie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, Bam Neely, Zack Ryder, and Curt Hawkins all asked for forgiveness from Undertaker. Undertaker responded by saying he was going to take Vickie Guerrero and her family's soul.

He then attacked Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, Chavo Guerrero, and Bam Neely, as Vickie Guerrero ran up the ramp in fear with Undertaker posing that Vickie Guerrero is next on his list.
