Vera is a mousy little woman, who is always trying to get Artie to fix something around the house or go on a diet. She and Artie met on a blind date and have been married 10 years.

During "Magnum Chainsaw", there was a very scary part. Ruby screamed and jumped almost into Weldon's lap. "Aren't you scared?" she asked. "Yeah," Weldon answered. "But I'll be all right as soon as you get back on the other side of the truck!"
