Hopefully in future books his name will be cleared to the whole wizarding world. Sirius is one of my favorite characters. Professor Snape was in the staff room as the class came in to learn about the Boggart. He informed Professor Lupin not to entrust Neville with anything difficult. Professor Lupin came to Neville's defence saying that he was hoping that Neville would be the first to help him. This caused much anger for Snape. This is what made Lupin a firm favorite with me.

Now the trick to defeating the Boggart is to laugh at it! So when the Boggart turned into Snape Neville recited the spell "Riddikulus" turning the Boggart into Snape wearing Neville's grandmother's vulture topped hat, green dress and big red bag!

Professor(Remus) Lupin is the werewolf. However he is not an animagus. He was bitten by a werewolf as a small child. James Potter, Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black became unregistered animagi to keep Lupin company in animal form.

Professor Snape made this potion for Professor Lupin to take in the week before a full moon. This potion enables Lupin to keep his mind while he is a werewolf while his body transforms. This is only a recent discovery.

False! He actually has one missing! This is how Sirius recognised him in a newspaper picture on Ron's shoulder in Egypt! Peter Pettigrew faked his own death and cut off his finger so people would think that was all was left of him. Sirius was blamed for the death and the murder of several muggles in the street at the time.

This spell along with thinking of a very happy memory will produce a Patronus. Harry's Patronus was of a stag. Harry's father, James Potter, could transform himself into a stag. His nick name among his friends was Prongs. 0:-) cute huh?
