Answer: Petronilla

Richard the Lionheart, Eleanor's son, was mentioned in the classic book "Robin Hood."
2. A girl is torn between loyalties for her two feuding brothers in "Isabel, Jewel of Castilla; Spain, 1466." Who wrote this book?

Answer: Carolyn Meyer

Isabel married Prince Ferdinand of Aragon and became Queen of Spain. Under her rule literature and art flourished, as did the Spanish Inquisition. Isabel was the mother of Catherine of Aragon, who was the first wife of King Henry VIII, and mother of Mary Tudor (Bloody Mary).
3. This is a story about a princess living in India who didn't have any freedom. The great-granddaughter of Akbar, the greatest moghul emperor of India, this girl's prison isn't a prison at first sight. There aren't any bars or chains. What is the title of this book?

Answer: Jahanara: Princess of Princesses, India, 1627

This book is by Kathryn Lasky. Jahanara's mother's death was the reason for a very beautiful landmark in India. Her father was so grieved at the loss of his favourite wife that he had a tomb built for her. That tomb is the Taj Mahal.
4. Kathryn Lasky's "Marie Antionette, Princess of Versailles; Austria-France, 1769" is about a girl who lives under her mother's rules and consequences. That is, until she marries the future king of France. The book ends when Marie is 15, but how old was she when she died?

Answer: 37

After a difficult time in power, Marie's life ended on October 16, 1793, during the Reign of Terror in the French Revolution. Queen Marie Antoinette was beheaded by guillotine for being an enemy of the revolution.
5. "Anastasia, The Last Grand Duchess; Russia, 1914" by Carolyn Meyer gives a very interesting look at Russian history. The Romanov family was murdered on July 17, 1918. They were buried in a pit in a forest, and left there. A few years ago, however, they were given a burial ceremony how long after their death?

Answer: 80 years

Tsar Nicholas, Tsaritsa Alexandra, Olga, Tatiana, Marie (Mashka), Anastasia, and Alexei were buried 80 years to the day after their execution.
6. In "Lady Of Ch'iao Kuo, Warrior of the South; Southern China, A.D. 531" by Lawrance Yep, this princess has another name that people called her. What was it?

Answer: Princess Redbird

Princess Redbird was stuck in a time that fought between war and peace. The Hsien tribe to which she belonged was under attack by the dreaded Dog Heads.
7. This is a book on one of the most famous princesses of all time. She lived in Ancient Egypt, and watched as terror, murder, and intrigue took place. Answer: Sheri Holman

This is one of my favourite books in the series. Sondok wanted to learn the things that would make her a good and responsible ruler but, as in many ancient countries, girls were not given the opportunity to learn beyond what was needed to run a household.
10. This is another book about a famous princess. This girl is living in a palace with a burden on her shoulders. Her father had her mother executed. This red-haired princess lives with the guilt of not being the son that her father always wanted. What is this book called?

Elizabeth grew to be one of the strongest monarchs England has ever seen. The Elizabethan Age was named after her and is a reminder of how she dominated the world in her lifetime. She ruled England for 45 years.
