Answer: The water tower

In solving the mystery of "The Tower Treasure" Frank and Joe managed to solve their first mystery, save the job of their friend's father and earn a substantial reward of which they used a portion to build the crime lab over their garage.
2. In "The Secret of the Old Mill" what was the mill's secret?

Answer: It was being used as a hideout for counterfeiters

The counterfeiters used an electric eye system to make the waterwheel stop to alert them to intruders.
3. In "The Secret of the Lost Tunnel" how was the treasure disguised?

Answer: The gold was melted into cannonballs

In finding the hidden gold the boys vindicated General Smith's Grandfather, Beauregard Smith. He was thought to have turned traitor during the Civil War after he was killed delivering a message and the gold was never found.

This is one time where Chet's hunger finally came in handy. After trying to cut into a loaf a bread which he claimed was "harder than a rock" Frank and Joe realized the stone was hidden inside the hollow loaf.

Answer: By pressing the eye of the figurehead

Frank, Joe Chet and the entire gang go into business ferrying picnickers to Rocky Isle to the displeasure of Clams Dagget. Although Clams tried to sabotage the boy's boat he turned out to be helpful and friendly in the end.

Answer: Iroquois Indians disguised as French soldiers

Once again Frank and Joe beat the bad guys to the treasure and solve multiple mysteries along the way. And Chet's redone painting won Most Original at the Senendaga Day Art Festival.
7. Who was "The Secret Agent on Flight 101?"

Answer: Fenton Hardy

The Hardy Boys were just as amazed as we were to find out their dad was the secret agent.
8. What formed "The CrissCross Shadow" to show the way to the treasure?

Answer: Two overhanging pinnacles of rock

The most valuable "treasure" in this case turned out to be a Deed of Sale showing the Indian tribe as the true owners of their ancestral lands.
9. What was "The Secret of the Caves?"

Answer: It's where Todham Todd was living after he lost his memory

A bit of a trick question. Todham Todd went by the name of Captain Royal after he lost his memory but he wasn't a member of any criminal gang.
10. What was "The Clue in the Embers?"

Answer: A particular type of wood found only in a certain part of Mexico

Frank and Joe this time managed to find an entire palace full of gold, jewels and enormous amounts of treasure all buried underground in Mexico.
