Answer: Cho Chang

Cho Chang is a member of Ravenclaw House and plays seeker in Quidditch. Harry has a crush on Cho but she turns him down for Cedric Diggory. However, once Cedric is killed, Cho and Harry start a relationship. Their relationship does not last long as Cho misses Cedric and thinks Harry is too close to Hermione.
2. Killed by a Basilisk about fifty years prior to the books

Answer: Myrtle Warren

Myrtle Warren, also called Moaning Myrtle, is a ghost who resides in the girls' bathroom in Hogwarts. Before she died, Myrtle was a student a Hogwarts who died when a basilisk killed her after the Chamber of Secrets was opened. As a ghost, Myrtle haunted Olive, her bully and tormentor.
3. Hufflepuff in Harry's year, later prefect

Answer: Hannah Abbott

Hannah Abbot is a girl with a pink face and pigtails. She is a member of Hufflepuff House, and is also a member of Dumbledore's Army. As an adult, she marries Neville Longbottom and operates the Leaky Cauldron pub.

Answer: Padma Patil

The identical twin sister of Parvati, Padma is a member of Ravenclaw House. By the time she enters her fifth year there, she has become a prefect. Each house chooses one male and one female to serve in that capacity in their fifth year to carry out extra responsibilities; they continue in that job until they leave the school.

She is also a member of Dumbledore's Army, attending the founding meeting with her sister, and fights in the Battle of Hogwarts.
5. Gryffindor chaser, afflicted by a cursed necklace

Katie Bell is a member of Gryffindor House and a member of Dumbledore's Army. She excels at Quidditch and plays in the position of chaser. Katie becomes cursed in 'The Half-Blood Prince' after accidentally touching a necklace Draco Malfoy meant for Dumbledore to curse him. After this incident, she spends months getting better in the hospital.
6. Beauxbatons representative during the Triwizard Cup

Answer: Fleur Delacour

Fleur Delacour is a French student at Beauxbatons Academy who competes in the Triwizard Tournament in 'Goblet of Fire'. She initially does not like Harry, but comes to like him during the tournament. Fleur finishes in last place after committing a number of missteps including failing to save her sister from a lake. As an adult, she marries Bill Weasley and has three children.
7. Founder of the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare

Answer: Hermione Granger

Hermione Granger is considered the smartest and most bookish of all the Hogwarts students. She is a muggle-born witch sorted into Gryffindor. Both her parents know of the wizarding world and have been to Diagon Alley with Hermione. Author Joanne K. Rowling has said that Hermione is a more extreme version of herself when she was young.

In 'The Goblet of Fire', she started SPEW because she was outraged at the treatment accorded house-elves.
8. Ravenclaw student who can see Thestrals

Answer: Luna Lovegood

A member of the Ravenclaw House, Luna joins Dumbledore's Army during her fourth year at Hogwarts, in 'The Order of the Phoenix'. First seen by the others as being a bit strange - "Some people call me 'Loony' Lovegood, actually" - Luna participates in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries and (in 'The Half-blood Prince') the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, and is eventually viewed by her peers as being pretty tough.

She has the power to see Thestrals, winged horses with the body of a skeleton. She says that "They can only be seen by people who've seen death."
9. Ron Weasley's first girlfriend, attacked by Fenrir Greyback

Answer: Lavender Brown

Lavender Brown is accepted into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when she is eleven years old and is a member of the same class as Harry. Assigned to Gryffindor House, she is a roommate with four girls, including Hermione and Parvati, who becomes her best friend.

She is interested in studying Divination and joins Professor Dumbledore's Army, a secret organization formed to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts in 'The Order of the Phoenix'. At the beginning of 'The Half-blood Prince', she becomes Ron's girlfriend, but it doesn't last long. During the Battle of Hogwarts (in 'The Deathly Hallows'), she is attacked by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback and eventually dies from her injuries.
10. Youngest, and only girl, of seven siblings, later Harry's wife

Answer: Ginny Weasley

Ginny Weasley is a year younger than Harry and admires him from the very start of the series. She is the one who opens the Chamber of Secrets. When Harry is more interested in Cho Chang in 'The Goblet of Fire', Ginny goes to the Yule Ball with Neville Longbottom. After Harry receives a ban from playing Quidditch in 'The Order of the Phoenix', she takes over his role as Gryffindor seeker.
