Answer: Antrim and Down

The River Lagan, which flows through Belfast city centre, forms the border between Antrim and Down, with the western half of the city being in Antrim. Although it is the capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast is not the county town of either of these counties - Antrim and Downpatrick hold that accolade.
2. Which of the following nicknames was applied to Belfast in the 19th century?

Answer: Linenopolis

Belfast was a major centre of the linen industry in the 19th century, thus the nickname. The city was the largest producer of linen in the world until World War I.
3. Belfast is the birthplace of many famous musicians, but which one of the following was born elsewhere in Northern Ireland?

Answer: Feargal Sharkey

Feargal Sharkey, who first found fame as lead singer of The Undertones, was born in Derry. The other three were all born in Belfast - Ruby Murray in 1935, Van Morrison in 1945 and Gary Moore in 1952.
