4. This law was enacted so that consumers were protected from defective goods. It is mostly used when someone purchases a bad car. What kind of law is it?

Answer: lemon

The Lemon law differs from state to state so, if you have bought a LEMON of a car or computer, contact an experienced consumer protection attorney in your state.
5. What happened in Miami Beach, Florida at 7:07 AM EST on January 1, 2000 (assuming the millennium began in 2000)?

Answer: First metropolitan sunrise in the US of the new millennium

Please, no mail on the 2000/2001 'New Millennium' debate. I, personally, say 2001... but that is just me.

The first major metropolitan area in the United States to see the sun rise is Miami Beach, Florida (25° 47'N 80° 16'W).
6. What was the host city for the 2002 Winter Olympics games?

Answer: Salt Lake City

These are all cities in Utah but it was in Salt Lake City that the games were hosted. To compete in the ice skating competitions were Sarah Hughes and Michelle Kwan.
7. What is another name for a one or one and one half ounces of a liquid measurement?

Answer: shot

A one ounce shot is called a 'pony' while the one and one half ounce shot is commonly referred to as a 'jigger.'
8. These people make a living out of following natural disasters. What are they commonly referred to as?

Answer: storm chasers

Storm chasers are usually found tailing tornadoes. They mostly do it for scientific research but there are others who are thrill seekers. Although I haven't seen it, I have been told that the movie 'Twister' is a good watch!
9. What state park is found in Union, Kentucky?

Answer: Big Bone Lick

These are all actual state parks in Kentucky. Big Bone was the birthplace of American Vertebrate Paleontology. OK, if you are anything like me, you more than likely giggled once you read the answers... and are still giggling now! =)
10. OK, so what answer does the first nine answers bring you to?

Answer: tequila

Heeeere we go!: Q1(Sammy) and Q2(Hagar) refer to Sammy Hagar, known owner and producer of Cabo Wabo tequila; A Q3(worm) is what most people think are in bottles of tequila when, in actuality, it is Mezcal that worms come in, not tequila; Tequila Q5(sunrise) is a drink you can make using tequila; To do a Q7 (shot) you Q9(lick) Q6(salt), slam the shot, then suck on a Q4(lemon); At this point most people use a Q8(chaser) to get all of the tequila taste out of their mouths. Hope you enjoyed the Common Bond as much as I have enjoyed making it! Now, if you don't mind, I think I need to slip out to the nearest bar and make sure I addressed the 'shot' method in the correct order. Is it lick first? Slam first?
