Answer: "Have Gun - Will Travel"

Boone's other show "Have Gun-Will Travel lasted from 1957 to 1963 and yielding Boone two Emmy nominations. Boone was also a continuing character on "Medic" (1954).

4. History: Officially it was called the Tecumseh War but is mostly remembered as the Battle of Tippecanoe. What leader is credited with winning this conflict?

Answer: William Henry Harrison

At the time Harrison was Governor of the Indiana Territory. He later became President with the campaign slogan 'Tippecanoe and Tyler too'. He died after 30 days in office. Tecumseh was an Indian leader in the Indiana Territory. His goal was to remove the white man from the territory by uniting the various tribes into a fighting force.

This was difficult as many of the tribes were already selling their land to the settlers. Harrison and Tecumseh had great respect for each other having been united in some previous skirmishes in the territory.
5. Animals: In selecting a cat food either dry or wet it is important to choose one as low as possible in_________.

Answer: 50

In making melds the joker is fifty points and deuces are twenty points. Both these cards are wild. Aces also count twenty. Eights, nines, tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings count 10 apiece. Fours, fives, sixes, and sevens count five apiece. Red threes are one hundred. Black threes are zero.
7. Geography: The Isle of Capri is renown in history as well as song. What are the major Italian cities that offer tourist excursions to the Isle?

Answer: Naples and Sorrento

From Naples the excursion takes about 80 minutes. Boats from Sorrento take 40. Boarding a hydrofoil will cut those times in half. The Isle of Capri is steeped in history as it was a resort area even in Roman days. The Emperor Tiberius made Capri his capitol in 27 AD and it is reported to be the scene of classic Roman debauchery carried on after his death by his nephew Caligula.

The Isle of Capri has roughly 3000 square miles and a permanent population of 12,200 and draws hundreds of thousands to its natural beauty and historical significance.
8. Entertainment: The Marx Brothers were Chico, Harpo, Groucho, Zeppo, and Gummo. Who lived the longest?

Answer: Groucho

Groucho was 86, Gummo 83, Zeppo 78, Harpo 75, and Chico 74 at time of death. Gummo was the least known and Zeppo was often cast as a male love interest in films. Groucho, Harpo, and Chico were united in most of their movies. They started out as a singing act but added comedy as the act matured which lead them from vaudeville to Broadway to films.
9. Sports: Between 1875 and 2009 there were only two horses to win the Kentucky Derby in under two minutes. What were their names?

Answer: Secretariat and Monarchos

Secretariat ran the race in 1.59 minutes in 1973. The closest has been Monarchos in 2001 with 1.59.97 minutes. Most winners have been just over the 2.00 mark. Speeds are highly affected by weather, track conditions, the skill of the jockey, endurance, and luck. But, of course, that makes horse racing.
10. Celebrities: We know Shirley Temple Black as a child and adult movie star and as a political activist and ambassador. Black was her second husband. Who was her first?

He was often seen with John Wayne in such films as "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" (1949) and "Sands of Iwo Jima" (1949). Most of his later acting career was in bit parts in films and television.
